Oh no...these ARE kids' toys. Not for adults like for instance the Todd McFarland toys (Spawn/LOST/X-Files/Spiderman etc. action figures. Real toys to be bought by people like my mother, the unassuming grandma, that obviously couldn't see that the baby doll is dressed rather whorishly. *laughs*
I am pumped because I do think that some toys out there do give kids the wrong ideas about what is acceptable.
Don;t get me wrong, i didn;t take the dolls from my daughter, it did in fact give me an opportunity to talk to her about dressing and things of that nature...but if she thinks I am running out and buying her a micro-skirt and a thong...she has another thing coming.

I myself think some toy out there do not give kids wrong ideas. But for the rest...
I really doubt I would buy TV if I had a kid... And I would need the all the parents I (would) know: mine, my friends', my wife's to help me to explain all the words (s)he learns from his/her littel playmates (who surely learned those words from the neighbor NOT the parents...)
Am I paranoid?
But seriously what kind of mind think up such "toys"?! Where are the happy times of pissing dolls and tamagochi?

I don't see what the issue is Setitetart. Dolls are supposed to promote activities the girls are supposed to engage in when they become adults i.e. dressing like skanks and being maternal.
If a little girl is chaning a diaper on a baby, or feeding it a bottle, or spanking it for being a bad baby, or taking it out in a stroller, does it mean she's going to become a teenage mom of an illegitimate baby?
No, then what's the issue with teaching them to model their wardrobes from the clearance section of Strippers R' Us?
