Good, i hoped you are present  Jinx has fulfilled his duty as mediator very well. The matter of maps is a bit different. Imo, if all Finals games were on different maps it would be a more grand clash of creativity and flexibility compared to endlessly optimizing one.
Jinx, these maps ARE with equal knowledge base for fire and me according to our profiles. Furthermore, Ves might as well pick 3 maps for the next three rounds already now rather than do it each round. Anyway, you do realize that multiple maps are way better than one, right? 
Why, instead of pushing DR, you couldn't come up with smth from the list? It is not so hard, is it?

OK.. as Arbitor.. I will also mediate the Map debate. I will speak at length with Fire and with Strider, and try to come to a fair yet quick solution. So stand by....
Ok.. after 3 Hours of arbitrating, we came to the following agreement. Since Niether side would agree to each others proposed maps.. I told them I would pick a map off TOH page that was LARGE and that niether of them had listed on there TOH profile. And since we are struggling to even come up with a 2nd map, I told both of them that we would have 2 maps total for all 5 games. And they both agreed that getting 2 maps was hard enough, 3,4, or 5 map would be impossible. So here is the map I chose and the Format for the rest of tourny.
I chose Random Wars
Format of games will be alternating. DR-RW-DR-RW-DR
Since game #1 is done, the next game will be on RandomWars...
Game #2 Starts Saturday 9:00am ( Fire time )
This isnt Perfect by anymeans.. but under the circumstances, I think compromises was made from both sides.

RW is HOF ready map, so no TOE spells, right ? ... Are you sure is suitable for Caesar ?

Great job, Jinx Even though i maintain position that 5 different maps for the Caesars Final would be more fascinating, this is surely a feat to have us going again.
Something fresh and requiring creativity will surely add spice to the next game. And more interesting to the audience, of course

Game #2 started this morning... and apparently they played for 3 hours... and accomplished 2 turns!!! So atleast we arent having hour turns.. now they are 90 min turns..
Guess this tourny will not finish till after the end of the world 2012... so we never know the Ceasar of season 1 
And I am starting to think that maybe niether of these 2 deserve the Best skilled Ceasar title.. but a trophy for who can be the slowest, might be more appropriate.

If you think this is slow and dramatic, try picturing a Caesar with Infinitus involved in it: one map, hero choose  ... but perhaps he learns to play all towns until then, and even starts extreme things like strike-out and a new map

Is not one map, it's random template that generate millions of maps. This is why i play random maps. Yes, i play this template only, cos other are no good for play. Sim turns may end on day 1 on other templates, week zone guards etc ...

Strike-out is ban system, i don't like it, and will never use it. As for maps, i play random maps only - i random map player ... New maps ? Sorry no, this maps are full of mods, custom creatures (don't like them too).
