Ok, i have a different approach about demons and dragons. First, sorry if this is too confusing, my english is not that good .
Demons: Like in Elder Scrolls, all things created by Daedra both arts and warfare technology always better than human. Demons have more advanced technology in warfare, though they prefer melee weapon (like DoW), but they invent something to combine energy shield with hellfire shield, making them invincible againts shooter, the only way to defeat them is to melee them.
Their vehicle desain (i mean its model) is quite good, though not so artistic in model, their destructive power is far more than any humans could create. The most dangerous of this is a very giant walker,
equiped with hellfire canon, a weapon of doomsday that can obliterate lots of region, this walker also has 8 hands, each carrying weapon of chaos to melee anything to the death, ofc this thing has demonic shield (something like Protoss energy shield combine with hell magic, a shield that grant perotection againts both tech and magic).
Demons are indeed much more better than any mortal races (dragons not counted among these) in warfare, but they pay little attention to arts, culture, etc. They also develop how to reach space, in the same time with wizards.
About how the demons invent hellfire canon -> The sovereign is forced to use all Primordial Secrets. He knew that Urgash has many more secrets of unimaginable power, but even the sovereign never knew any detail about this. When the first time human and other mortal race invent modern futuristic powerful weapons like guns, lasers, plasma, etc, the demons has weapons far stronger than them. But they combine their strenght, the demons nearly extinct untill Urgash reveal some of his many secrets, that secret is how to create a weapons that can tap directly to chaos primordial energies. The result of this one is the hellfire canon, in fact, hellfire canon was the prototype of this combination of primordial energies with futuristic tech, though it is the most powerful. It has the streght 10 times stronger than any nukes the humans could create.
Speaking of inferno unis, the modern Archdevil is like the old one, except now he carries chaos shield generator, thus making him impossible to be defeated in ranged combat. His awesome weapon, the chaos axe can tap to the very core of primordial chaos, giving this weapon more power, powerful enough to cut anything, this weapon by pass any modern shield, only the order shield that can defend againts this. This weapon's hellfire effect also 1000 times stronger via the chaos core. Nowadays, Archdevil hellfire has a very large radius, 20-40 meter splash of fiery explosion powerful enough to bring down the most powerful Vehicles and Walker, infernal units is immune to this as long as they wear chaos shield and activate it. This is not the most powerful ability of the chaos axe, it still has the last ability, an ability of doom, it can summon giant demonic dragon creature for several seconds, this demon dragon then blast anything, sometimes including its ally, for the radius and power of this blast is unimaginable, rumor among the demons say that it is 100 times stronger than hellfire canon.
The modern archdevil rarely appear directly, even to the demons. Like the children of the six, they prefer to help from secret.
Dragons: They live in a very hidden places created by the elemental dragons. The Dragon Knights also live here. The only races that can match demons technology in warfare is the Dragon Knights, how they invent their technology? The story is very similar with the demons.
All mortal race technologies were given by the Dragon Knights in secret with the guide of the dragons as the children of the six divine. Though they never teach one thing, their most powerful secret, how to combine primordial enegies of order with their weapon.
This is the story of the modern war, when all race combined, the demons nearly defeated, but after the demons have new technology impossible for any mortal races to invent, analyze and defeat it, their forces were driven back easily and scattered, until the Dragon Knight pray to Asha, Asha order her children, the Six Divine to guide the Dragon Knight and the other mortal races.
The Six divine, speak through their childrens, black dragons, emerald dragons, archangels, etc. The children of the Six tell the Dragon Knight how to tap to primordial energies of Order, with this any weapon can be enchanced with one powerful elemental property of choice (there are six property). Only this weapon that can penetrate the chaos shield of the demons.
After receiving this new gift, the dragon knights assemble all his brethren they can muster, then charge to help the other mortal races againts the demons, this time they help them directly, not with whisper, premonition, prophecy, etc, and for the first time the Dragon knights appeared in front of mortal races. Then the demons was defeated, and retreated to their fiery place to regroup.
The combined armies want to exterminate the demons once and for all, however the Dragon knights said that the demons may have set many traps, and the combined armies never know how strong the defense of their capital.
But as always, humans never care, so they rally all the alliances, they march to Ur Hekal, but, how unfortunate for them, they're blasted with new weapon of imaginable power, the hellfire canon, this weapon obliterate 90% of the alliance, thus making the alliance to retreat immediately.
So, the demons never realy use their walker directly, for in that time, the hellfire canon is still unstable, although even without the hellfire canon, the walker itself is imposible to be defeated.
The demons and the dragon knights have the most advanced weaponry, the demons prefer melee, the dragon knight prefer long range. The dragon knight favor laser and energy weapon.
The children of the six, has special weapon, stronger than any race. They live in a special newly created moon, special for them, and most of their tech and power never revealed, rumor and whisper said that they have many ships that can sail the ocean of stars, though in shape/form, it's not always in the shape/form of ship.
Another whisper said that The children of the six special weapon is stronger than any technological weapon. The arch angel is rumored to have a sword that can extent to 50 m long, and its sharpness even ignore the most powerful laser blades any mortal races could create, this weapon also can call six beam of light from the sky to incinerate anything below. The Black dragons create a device, though seems not technologically, at least that's what the rumor say, this device enchance his breath attack power and its radius, none can defend againts a blast of this power, and none can escape a blast of this radius, even the humans's super nuke or its planetary bombardment cannot match its power and radius. A single blast of this breath can cause destruction 10 times more powerful than hellfire canon.

i saw one futuristic hero in map editor it was wizard and name was temkhan or something like that he had special time shift- pretty cool and i also had saw alien in map editor with warlock skills and ultimate irresistible magic with no pendant of mastery how can nival explain that??

I like the idea first brought up on these modern day faries, or as you might prefer, '1500-2000 years into the future faries' were thier all suicidal and gothic and the idea that too many of them drugged it to dead. xD

Marines and Imperials(Humans), Chaos Marines (Demons + corrupted humans), Necrons (Undead), Tau Empire (Dwarves), Eldar (Elves), Orks (Orcs)

also i have seen tank from world war 2 in the map editor, but i guess you all know about that and its fiery cannon, its little bit funny because its heroes game not brothers in arms.

humans- basically humans that we know now but with better tech
demons- has learned not to be total snows and rebelled on the sovereign and are living in a huge demon space station away from everyone else
wizards- creates huge technology with mechanics and all, but still uses magic to help their construct work
warlocks- still uses magic a lot but creates biological weapons and bio-enhanced soldiers
orcs- a bit late on technology, but uses it to great benefits and constantly harasses the humans(think of the arabs with better tech)
elves- hippies with long ears and magic
dwarves- stays with wizards and humans for the most part
undead- stays to themselves for the most part, but because of all the time(hey they live practically forever!), slaves, and magic they have they make some of the greatest inventions ever and the others don't even know about it, which are the living races greatest weakness.
dragons- joins with elementals, warlocks, elves, and undead(if they want to become undead dragons)
elementals- no technology for them, they stick with magic all the way

knight would have special that turns benediction into prayer and it will be stronger at each level of the hero, it would increase creatures damage, hit points, speed, intiative and makes every creatures special ability a bit tougher.
