OK, my faction for his round is done. I hope you like it.
Although there could be some things that need tweaking and I`d maybe want to add something, I think it`s finished (and I don`t have the time to do it anyway).

So, I`ll be gone for a week and see you all again on the 21st, I hope I get a decent score this time.

Hmm... I feel like the whole creature/hero/racial thing is practically finished on my part... The only thing I can really add is more background story. I'll get to it when I have time.

Anyway, if Sunday's the deadline, it's way too much time, friday is better unless someone really needs more time.

Tips.  Some things to keep in mind..I have not looked over the towns again, so some of these maybe a bit useless.  Also I am not going to give too much advice.  After all, I want something that makes me go ... WOW.

Sanctum - The snipers were my biggest issue.

High Peaks - More story, some specials, and maybe a unique building.

Peak - The special..maybe refine or fine tune it?  Doesn't have to change altogether, but stranding a stack or two against an army of 7 would be a bad thing.

Hidden Lookout - The one thing that lowered your points was history and storyline.

Dark Church -  Little more story/background, and some special abilities and you would have been hard to beat.

Shurinkar - There isn't much wrong with your town.  Hard to pinpoint an exact weakness.

The Megrim Faction - More description of creatures is first.

Asylum - Creatures, descriptions..

The Cyclone - Don't rest on your laurels .  Try to find something to add

Abyss - Another one that is hard to pinpoint exactly where to improve.  Just needs something unexpected (that fits with the town).

Town Name: Sky Rook
Kingdom: The Falcon Dynasty
Town Description:  Built along cliff edges far to the East of the Holy Griffin Empire, the Sky Rooks are a mixture of haunting beauty and honor to the Dragon of Air, Sylath.  The stretching gardens, towering pagodas, and massive rookeries have a distinctive oriental flare, all clinging with perfect precision on the cliffsides that provide defense for the Dynasty towns.  An approaching force has no opportunity to approach the Rooks from the rear and must charge against the city gates, guarded by bladed barriers and towers manned by cannons.
Faction History: (Based on the Official HOMM5 Website)

The Origins

3 YSD:  Birth of the Falcon Empire
Falcon the Great unifies the human kingdoms (founding the empire that will one day become the Haven faction). A prophecy tells that the Falcon line shall endure as long as the world does.

28-40 YSD:  Wars of Fire First great demon incursion
Most of the Angels perish during these wars. The survivors take refuge in the Falcon Empire, which is increasingly turned away from the Dragon of Air - Sylath, and toward the Dragon of Light.  Prince Jonathan Falcon is disturbed by the change of faith, but as the youngest son of the East Emperor Brian Falcon, he is readily ignored.

48 YSD: The Falcon Empire becomes the "Holy" Falcon Empire
Founding of the Free Cities of the East Emperor Brian Falcon gives absolute power to the Church of the Dragon of Light. The Human kingdom is renamed "Holy Falcon Empire". Dissent grows among many citizens who resent being forced to abandon their faith in Sylath. Many will leave the Empire's territory to found the Free Cities of the East.  Prince Jonathan Falcon leads a large group of Sylath faithful past the known lands to begin his own dynasty, far from the unfaithful.

60 YSD: Founding of the Falcon Dynasty
Prince Jonathan founds Cliffside and declares himself the First Emperor Jon of the Falcon Dynasty.  The followers of Sylath prosper and take an isolationist view of the rest of the world, refusing to become involved in the disputes of other races and empires.  The Falcon Dynasty quietly strengthens their power, far away from other politics, focusing on their commune with their Dragon God and their search for balance.

213 YSD:  Establishment of the Temple of Balance
With the grace of Sixth Emperor Cho, the Temple of Balance is founded.  The Temple becomes a sanctuary for those seeking the balance of life and death.  The Priests of the Wing lead the religion, honoring Sylath and their ancestral spirits.  They teach of the need for balance in the soul, and how that balance gives power.  Balance is earned through works and honor to counter the desperate actions needed in life.

The Modern Age

843 YSD: Fall of the Falcon Empire
Word reaches the Falcon Dynasty of the death of the Falcon line to the West.  The Thirty-Second Empress Yin honors Sylath, for the Dragon God’s protection, by sacrificing one-hundred thousand gold bars into a great furnace.  As the smoke from the sacrifice billows the ancestral fox spirit of the First Emperor appears, and warns of a coming conflict that will tip the balance of the world.  The spirit states that pilgrims will herald the time of conflict where the falcon must re-emerge to rebuild the balance of life.

970 YSD: Balance Shattered
Six Dragon Knights approach Cliffside, seeking rest and healing after a fierce conflict with a demon force.  The Dynasty warily allows them in with misgivings of their intensions.  That night, an army of demons attacks Cliffside, but falters against the warriors of the sky.  The Thirty-Sixth Emperor Wan takes this as the sign that the First Emperor spoke of, and readies his people for war.

Hero Information:

Hero: Priest of the Wing
Description: Dressed in white robes bordered with silver with a wide reed hat to hide their contemplative faces, the Priests of the Wing carry a simple silver staff that they wield with a master fighter’s precision.  They sit astride the massive Land Rocs, great flightless birds that are armored in silver, with fierce claws powerful enough to tear through most enemies.
Primary Traits: Attack 30%, Knowledge 30%, Defense 20%, Spellpower 20%.

Faction Skill:  Balance
Description:  Balance is the ability to stay between the yin and yang of life seeking to be at peace with one’s surroundings.  During a time of war, this can be very difficult and requires sacrifices to maintain the evenness within a kingdom.  As such, the Rook faction sacrifices gold and resources to Sylath and their people to balance out the souls from the war they wage.  To display this balance, a Rook faction player has a Yin-Yang symbol that identifies if they are too violent, too peaceful, or in balance.  If the symbol hovers with the white side up, the faction has been too violent and needs to pay for their balance.  While the white side is up, all Rook troops receive an Attack bonus, but lose an Initiative bonus.  If the black side is up, then the kingdom is too peaceful and more attacks need to be done, this also lowers the Attack strength of Rook troops, but increases their Initiative.  However if the symbol is in Perfect Balance, or near balanced for the Priest’s Balance Skill, then all of their Rook troops receive an Attack and Initiative bonus and each unit gains an extra skill.
Skill Levels:
Basic Balance Skill:  For all Rook troops in the Hero’s army, if the faction’s balance is within 5% of Perfect Balance, all Rook troops Attack is increased by 1, their Initiative is increased by 1, and they gain access to their Balance Abilities.
Advanced Balance Skill:  For all Rook troops in the Priest’s army, if the faction’s balance is within 10% of Perfect Balance, all Rook troops Attack is increased by 1, their Initiative is increased by 1, and they gain access to their Balance Abilities.
Expert Balance Skill:  For all Rook troops in the Priest’s army, if the faction’s balance is within 20% of Perfect Balance, all Rook troops Attack is increased by 2, their Initiative is increased by 2, and they gain access to their Balance Abilities.
Ultimate Balance Skill:  For all Rook troops in the Priest’s army, if the faction’s balance is within 30% of Perfect Balance, all Rook troops Attack is increased by 2, their Initiative is increased by 2, and they gain access to their Balance Abilities.
Balance Abilities:
Wax and Wane:  The Priest’s presence helps maintain the balance of the kingdom.  At the end of each day, the balance of the kingdom moves 2% towards Perfect Balance.
Duality:  This activated ability allows one selected friendly unit to be split into two units.  One unit’s Minimum and Maximum Damage is increased by 2, and its Defense and Initiative is decreased by 1.  The other unit’s Defense and Initiative is increased by 2, and its Minimum and Maximum Damage is decreased by 1.
Opposing Force:  Based on the intrinsic balance of enemy units, the abilities of the enemy units are altered.  For Fortress, Haven, Inferno, and Stronghold units, their Initiative is decreased by 10%.  For Academy, Dungeon, Necropolis, and Sylvan Units, their Attack is deceased by 10%.
The Way of Man:  The Priest’s ability toward balance also affects the metaphysical.  As such, enemy Destructive and Dark Magics that are cast on friendly units will randomly affect the enemy army.  And enemy Light and Summoning Magic that are cast on enemy units will randomly affect the friendly army.

Rook Creatures:

Tier 1:  Spirit Fox

Abilities:  Incorporeal
Balance Ability:  Howl

Tier 1 Upgrade:  Nine-tailed Fox
Type: Caster, Flyer
Description: Similar to the Spirit Fox in shape, the Nine-tailed Fox has a red coloring with nine-tailed swirling around its body.  Though the Nine-tailed Fox does not gain much in the realm of stats, its ability to cast the Weakness spell makes it a far more
Abilities:  Incorporeal
Spellbook: Weakness (Advanced)
Balance Ability: Howl

Tier 1 Upgrade:  Soul Fox
Type: Flyer
Description:  The Soul Fox is a pale blue spirit with hanging spirit orbs around it.  Due to its connection to the spirit world, the Soul Fox’s attack makes its enemies more vulnerable, all while keeping its astounding agility.  It shows a small increase in damage and speed, though its stats are still low for a tier one unit.
Abilities: Incorporeal, Soul Flash
Balance Ability: Howl

Tier 2:  Falconer
Type: Shooter
Description: Dressed in simple white and tan fighting robes, with a falcon hovering over their heads, the Falconer is a staple for the Rook towns that refuse the use of bows and arrows for religious reasons.  Though the Falconer lacks attack strength, he makes up his usefulness with his quick attacks that can hit multiple enemies, while the wisdom of their birds allow them to protect their allies.
Abilities: Falcon Strike
Balance Ability: No Range Penalty

Tier 2 Upgrade:  Grand Falconer
Type: Shooter
Description:  With a silver woven hat, and orange and silver robes, the Grand Falconer is far more skilled a trainer than the average falconer.  So much so, that their falcons know to attack, hover, then streaks back wreaking new damage on their return.  The upgrade gives the Grand Falconer an increase in attack and hit points, but their main strength remains in their quick initiative and strong abilities.
Abilities: Falcon Strike, Call Back
Balance Ability: No Range Penalty

Tier 2 Upgrade:  Eagle Hunter
Type: Shooter
Description:  Dressed in blue and silver fighting robes and some silver armor, the Eagle Hunter trades the speed and wiliness of a falcon for the power of an eagle.  Unlike the direct attack of the falcon, eagles swoop sideways across the battlefield, lashing out at everything in their way.  The Eagle Hunter gets a decent increase, putting it in line with other tier two shooters, but it costs them in intuition.
Abilities: Eagle Strike
Balance Ability: No Range Penalty

Tier 3:  Martial Artist
Type: Walker
Description:  With a shaved head and a powerful body, the Martial Artist wears no armor and only silver and white silk pants, weilding a three-section staff with wicked precision.  The Martial Artist has staggeringly low defense, but one of the highest attack and speed of any tier 3 creature.
Abilities: Windmill Blow
Balance Ability: Unlimited Retaliation

Tier 3 Upgrade:  Fighting Monk
Type: Walker

Abilities: Unlimited Retaliation, Windmill Blow
Balance Ability: Golden Hand

Tier 3 Upgrade:  Celestial Monk
Type: Caster, Walker
Description:  The Celestial Monk not only focuses on his fighting prowess, but also his wisdom.  Dressed in blue and silver robes, carrying a monk's staff, the Celestial Monk is as competent of a spellcaster as he is fighter.  The Celestial Monk loses some of his impressive speed, but gains more defense, knowledge, and spellpower comparitively.
Abilities: Immune to Air, Windmill Blow
Spellbook:  Haste (Expert), Righteous Might (Expert)
Balance Ability: Silver Hand

Tier 4:  Tengu
Type: Flyer, Caster
Description: Half-raven imps that are connected to the spirit realm, the Tengu is a strong and swift fighter that is dressed in white and silver robes.  The Tengu soars at their enemies, attack too quickly for a responce, and can leave their enemies in a muddle of confusion.  Tengu have only moderate attack, but make up for it with their spellcasting.
Abilities: No Retaliation
Spellbook: Confusion (Advanced)
Balance Ability: Agility

Tier 4 Upgrade:  Tengu Lord
Type: Flyer, Caster
Description:  The ruling class, the Tengu Lord commands more skill and pressence on the battlefield.  Dressed in orange robes and silver armor, with a silver crown, the Tengu Lord can whip enemies into a frenzy with their maddening eyes and a shake of their staff.  The Tengu Lord gets an increase in hit points and defense, and a large increase to their spellpower.
Abilities: No Retaliation
Spellbook: Confusion (Expert), Frenzy (Advanced)
Balance Ability: Agility

Tier 4 Upgrade:  Electric Tengu
Type: Flyer, Caster
Description: The blue-streaked Electric Tengu is a result of the raven-men soaring too high in the sky and building up an electric charge.  As such their attacks have a chance of stunning and electricuting their enemies.  The Electric Tengu gains a strong increase in their attack but loses effectiveness with their spellcasting.
Abilities: Electric Bash, No Retaliation
Spellbook: Confusion (Expert), Lightning (Expert)
Balance Ability: Agility

Tier 5:  Samurai
Type: Large Creature
Description: Sitting astride a quick brown stallion in frightening white and silver armor, the Samurai charges down enemy troops and dispatches them with a swift strike from his katana.  With stats slightly above average for a tier 5 unit, the Samurai is an effective front-line unit, even moresoe with Perfect Balance.
Abilities:  Charge, Armored
Balance Ability: No Retaliation

Tier 5 Upgrade:  Ronin
Type: Large Creature
Description: Dressed in orange and silver armor, with a fierce mask over their faces, the Ronin is a lordless warrior seeking to recover his honor.  To meet this end, the Ronin is willing to sacrifice himself honorably to right the imbalance of nature.  The Ronin recieves a hefty bonus to stats, puting him in line with some tier 6 units, however the Seppuku ability is his real strength.  A single Ronin can drastically change the shape of a battle with one stroke of his sword, against himself.
Abilities: Seppuku, Charge, Armored
Balance Ability: No Retaliation

Tier 5 Upgrade:  Samurai Champion
Type: Large Creature
Description: The Samurai Champion stands astride his horse, bearing two katanas and an unbending honor.  Dressed in blue and silver armor with a large helm, the Samurai Champion is fully capable of challenging even the strongest of creatures.  The Samurai Champion is a double edged sword.  As strong as most tier six creatures with a double attack and a chance of no retaliation, he can decimate a powerful foe.  However he is near powerless against weak creatures as long as one strong creature remains on the battlefield.
Abilities:  Double Attack, Charge, Armored, Honor-bound
Balance Ability: No Retaliation

Tier 6:  Cannon
Type: Large Creature, Shooter
Description: The Falcon Dynasty is one of the first people to master gunpowder, and they put it to good use with the Cannon.  Silver with the stylized mouth of a dragon that belches a fiery cannonball, the Cannon makes quick work of enemies from afar.  With the highest attack of any tier 6 unit, the Cannon does massive damage, but it also has the lowest speed and initiative of any tier 6 unit.  All the more reason to have Perfect Balance.
Abilities:  Mechanical, Explosive Shell, Magic-proof 25%
Balance Ability: Bombard

Tier 6 Upgrade:  War Machine
Type: Large Creature
Description: The War Machine is a change in how gunpowder is used.  Instead of firing a cannonball, this silver ram with orange banners is used to crush enemy walls.  The War Machine gains slightly in attack and defense, but gains more in speed, making it a perfect unit to charge an enemy door and expose the huddle troops within.
Abilities: Mechanical, Wall Crusher, Magic-proof 25%

Tier 6 Upgrade:  Thunder Cannon
Type: Large Creature, Shooter
Description: The silver and blue metal of the Bolt Thrower sizzles with energy.  Able to send bolts of lightning against all enemies on the field of battle, it is a dangerous weapon, feared by all.  The Bolt Thrower loses much of its attack, but gains in its ability to attack all enemies (though in some cases as with succubi, this can be a liability).  It does gain in hit points and initiative to make it more of a threat.
Abilities: Mechanical, Bolt Thrower, Magic-proof 25%
Balance Ability: Immune to Air

Tier 7:  Roc
Type: Large Creature, Flyer
Description: Nothing strikes fear in an enemy army like the massive shadow of a roc overhead.  These tan and white birds are larger than a dragon, and can tear an armored enemy to ribbons with the strength of their steel talons.  Roc's have average attackand defense for a tier 7 creature.  They have above average speed and hit points, but overall their strength remains in their abilties.
Abilities: Immune to Air, Steel Talons

Abilities: Immune to Air, Steel Talons, Bronze Beak
Balance Ability: Wind Shield

Tier 7 Upgrade:  Riacho
Type: Large Creature, Flyer, Caster
