These animated skeletal remains of slain sorcerers wield the forces of Light and Dark magic, regardless of the fact it is a difficult task for a single mage to master both of the magic schools without self destruction. The answer to that riddle is that a reanimated Skeleton Mage is actually constructed from bits and pieces of any number of different skeletons, not a single one.

the spellpower formula is not linear, it's logarithmic

the skeletons have a growth of 20 per week I think.
so it's simple, a week of skeletons have the same spellpower as a week of mages or a week of balors.

the fireball of 2 balors = the fireball of 5 archmagi = the fireball of 20 skeletons.
err, no. I've just realised the skeletons cast it with no mastery...

so you can delete the armour of the skeleton without deleting its body.
the effect looks awesome on the picture, what is it?

now, I'm thinking, should I steal it for my mod?

It's a masterpiece Just the Bless doesn't fit good with the skellie (Undeads) imo, but this doesn't matter.

Adopt. Yep, we need good creatures and this one is of the best quality. At the same time should be promoted.

Also no reason to duplicate skellies endlessly.

Precisely - in original model Skeleton doesn't have anything under his armour that could be uncovered by whiping it out. I just toyed a little with alpha and retextured the armour itself so it looks like a natural chest made of bones (he has no spine though). Take a look at the texture inside the mod

Yes, this is an excellent way to resolve the balance issue!

And yes, it looks quite amazing, good work.

actually I quickly looked at it, and didn't realise it was a modified armour.

BTW, he cant steal mana. He can only transef it to other casters, not to himself. I was fighting against Archliches and the ability was not available.
