Global warming

I am worrying about the coming heat if you see movies or something like which would be earth in year 2050 and so on. And as you see the north pole is no more and it may disappear in the next ten years and then there are no cooling system on earth because there are no white in the earth and weather gets really hot.

If we would have truly wanted to affect it, we would have done it long ago.But no, the big countries with alot of factories don't seem to realize it, Since they have the "I am king of the hill!" game going on.
I think we definetly should stop the polluting.I would say high oil prices are good in this situation.
Earth's current climate is not in equilibrium with the forcing imposed. Climate commitment studies indicate that even if greenhouse gases were stabilized at 2000 levels, a further warming of about 0.5 °C (0.9 °F) would still occur.

As Binabik once said, STOP GLOBAL PISSING!!!!!
Quote:
Beer causes erosion.  Think about it.  Take 6 billion people and put them on the Himalayas and give them all a case of beer.  Now just imagine the erosion when 6 billion people all start peeing at the same time......bye bye Himalayas. HA, the Chinese knew what they were about when they named the Yellow River.

Of course we can't really put 6 billion people on the Himalayas. The people are all kind of spread out all over the place. But on average they also drink a lot more than a case of beer in their lifetime. OK, so some people don't drink beer (they probably drink that wimpy water stuff instead), so lets assume the average person drinks 2 L of beer per month. Now allowing for the well known fact that for every liter of beer consumed, 1-1/2 L of piss is generated, 6 billion people living an average of 70 years each generate (6*10^9) * (70*36) = 1.512*10^13 liters of beer piss.

That's a lot of beer piss and therefore a lot of erosion. Of course the beer companies don't want you to know about all this so they came up with something they call global warming to take the attention away from the real problem, global pissing. That's right, there's no such thing as global warming. It's a complete fabrication made up by the beer companies to protect their profits. They don't care about global pissing as long as they make money.

We all need to band together to

STOP GLOBAL PISSING!!!!!
STOP GLOBAL PISSING!!!!!
STOP GLOBAL PISSING!!!!!
Seriously now, I hate beer (and I'm an adult, don't even think I'm underage!)

There is a possibility that the global warming is natural. The climate of Earth has changed dramatically many times.

But on the brigh side its good that it is overrated, it just helps our planet

I don't think it is overrated. In the past 5 years or so, winter has been horribly different than what it would be considered "normal", and weather is kinda strange

Although I would consider the 'human' factor not having such a high impact, it nevertheless places a considerable amount on the global warming effect.

I'd wish they wouldn't violate nature's rights so much (don't tell me it's not sentient, I am).

Establish a carbon tax, so that those who use more gasoline would pay more.

Hmmh...

I accidentaly was taught some bits about this stuff the past year. It is not only some 'warming'. It is rather a climate change, much more coplex than a higher temperature. As TheDeath has said weather has changed into a weird one (at least here in Europe, but I heard of some nice hurricanes in the USA as well as some floods in Asia).

And most importantly pollution not only does climate changes. I think that is the least problem. There are sooo many things. (It was a whole subject how different exposings affect health -it was called "environmental health" or similar)

But let's stick to gases. We all know that "Gas comes out of chimney, rise up in the air, mix with wapour in the air, creates acids and other chemicals and then falls onto the soil/surface of 'living creatures' (I mean plants, animals, humans). That is one.

Two: Gases rise up, high up in the atmosphere and stay there for quite a while. They let electromagnetic waves in (light) but reflects heat back onto the Earth. (like the warmhouse or a car left on the sun) It is not that bad for a limit. Even it is really esential for life as without warmhouse effect the temperature of our little planet would be  considerably colder. But beyond a certain amount it can cause trouble.

Three: Gases rise up in the atmosphere and become attracted by the 'radiant' beauty of the Sun so they start to couple up with with O3 (ozone- it is from the same atoms as oxygen-gas = O2, but is a wholly different compound; like graphite and diamond). So ozone cracks up and makes oxygene gas. There is a chemical equilibrium so 3*O2=2*O3 but  it becomes: 2*O3=>>3*O2. Enough said about chemistry. Ozone, this nasty gas is important because...? 'cause it "protect us from pesky UV . UV is pesky because it is a high energy electromagnetic wave, which means it is potent energy, it can (and it does) cause reactions. For example it makes ozone from O2, but it can mess up compounds in the skin as well. So ozone is there because there is UV and much of UV does not reach Earth 'cause it is busy making ozone. But the naughty gases like Freon and some other halogenid compounds work as catalysts: they makes the reaction of ozone's elimination to oxygen much quicker than UV makes the ozone from O2, that means ozone is slowly(?!) eliminated. And more UV can reach us. And do you know what it means?
It means ozone near the surface. And ozone is a highly reactive, very poisonous gas. (It can be used to disinfect.)

Four: Suspended matter. I mean by it dust and the like "floating" in the air. It can also be called smoke. They can be rough (dust, bacteria, pollen etc.); fine (some 'organic' compounds); ultra-fine (metals: Pb, Zn, Hg, Cd etc.). These come from a wide range of exposition and the finer it is the worse. Because the finer (more tiny) it is, the deeper it can dive in your lungs and the harder it is for the lungs/body to get rid of them. Even there are some of these you can not get rid of.

To be continued...

There is NO SNOW in Sweden in the winter and its very warm. Right now its around +20-32 degrees celsius.
Its changing between around 20 and 28 all the time ;P
I strongly belive that the Baltic Sea (the sea between Sweden, Finland and the Baltic States) will become the new Mediterranean Sea.

And its sad, i dont want more immigrants in Sweden when southern europe becomes a desert... -.-
The immigrants we have now only cause problems....
