Questiosn&Answers about the Complete Edition.
In this thread I will response to some questions that I saw in this thread. (NOTE: The thread was the officiall Complete Edition disscusion thrad on HC.)
Will the art book be uploaded onto AoH? 'cause otherwise I won't bother.

-If that is all you need, why don't you just download it? It's abandonware.

I know that the game is available on some sites, but it's not abandonware.
What i really wanna know is what is the 'Leaflet Presenting all the races and corresponding stats'. that really interests me. does it include data from the entire series?

Unfortunately, only H5 race stats are shown. But the heroe classes are also included.
hey, the dark massiah map in the complete edition, i trust someone will upload it? or do we have to buy it overselves? cause i got H2, H3 complete, H4 complete and Heroes 5 - Tote and i don't want to get it again

It's not actually a map. It's a mod. It seems it's include in the 3.1. TotE patch. I'm not sure, because I had the MOD via the Complete Edition prior to patching my game . I'll upload it anyway.
And why is only Heroes V artwork present everywhere? What happened to the previous parts of the saga? I thought Ubisoft has the copyright for that too... Maybe they're trying to erase the memory of the former Heroes culture; slowly but steadily...

I'm afarid you're right. There are flaws even in the H1-H4 descriptions. 
Looks cool, the problem is that heroes fans already have most of the games I wouldn't mind getting some of the extras, though.

I also had almost all the games but I still like verry much the Complete Edition. Those extras worth it.
I mean I will buy the game in order to see the art. However, I will not buy the game if the art will be put on Age of Heroes, because I don't want to pay $200 for something I can look at online.

I understand your point. Still, it's cooler to have them in physical form. And watching some pics with the Tarot Card Set definately not so cool as to use them to pplay with friends.
Does anyone know if the book will have more than pictures? Eg, will there be bits of Ashan's Mythology, History, Lore, or such?

The book doesn't contain only pics. There are lore bits, and more. Right, Lexxan?
Someone find the instructions of how to use the Tarot Deck? I really need a link to that. Second does it play out like all other kind of tarot decks?

''Abandonware'' is a fictional term. It's absolutely meaningless, and the thing that comes closest to Abandonware is the expiration of the game's copyright, which is give or take, 50 years after release.

well i have the complete edition also and its a fun thing to have 
the book's great, the cards are the wrong factions tough, i would prefer inferno, dungeon, syvan, haven, and there are some of those cards, we can see them in the book, but the collections great

I think you mean Heroes 3 Chronicles. No, they are not included.
And HoMM IV is patched.

My HOMM Complete edition is on the way to me. In the meantime I would like to know if this collection includes all patches for all games and add-ons? Are they already incorporated in the install, are they in the separate directory or are they missing?
There are almost 20 patches to install if you would like to have all patched up to the latest version so it would be great if they are already included. Guess I will have to download and burn them up on a separate dvd if they are not.
As far as I know these are the latest versions:
Heroes of Might and Magic I - v1.2
Heroes of Might and Magic II - v1.3
Heroes of Might and Magic II The Price of Loyalty - v2.1
Heroes of Might and Magic III - v1.4
Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade - v2.2
Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death - v3.2
Heroes of Might and Magic IV - v3.0
Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm - v3.0
Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Winds of War - v3.0
Heroes of Might and Magic V - v1.6
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate - v2.1
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East - 3.1
What is really annoying - you can`t get many of them patched up with a single patch so you must use several patches for some games to be fully patched.

Short guide for patches
For H5 original, you need 1.4  1.41 1.5 1.6
For H5:HoF, you need only 2.1
For H5:TotE, only 3.1 is needed.
Not sure about the other heroes games since I don't have them...
Also, not sure about the collector's edition either (don't have it), but you can check your version of the game after you install it. Just launch the game and read what it says in the lower-left corner (IIRC)

The following versions are included:
Heroes of Might and Magic I - v1.0
Heroes of Might and Magic II Gold Edition - includes both the original game and the PoL expansion; not sure about the versions, I will check
Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete Editon: v. 4.0
Heroes of Might and Magic IV Complete Edition: all patched up
Heroes of Might and Magic V - v1.5
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate - v2.1
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East - 3.0
The 3.1 patch for ToTE is not included, because it was launched after the collector's edition.

A small note: my Complete Edition came with version 1.5 for Heroes V. I had to update to 1.6.

I'm sorry, my mistake.
When I got my edition, I had already finished the Heroes V campaigns; no need to play it anymore or check the version. Long live HoF and ToTE.
