[MOD ToTE] Patch for 3.1 Patch

Hi

This an pure cosmetic NEW**mod(patch)v.1.12** it adds correct decritptions of changed skills, abilities( that have been reported so far in this thread) modified by 3.1 ToTE Patch

The Following descriptions are fixed:

Axe thrower's wound ability decreases now initiative by 20% and speed by 40% ( was 30 and 50)

Stormwind decreases flying units' ini by 20% and speed by 2. Was 10% and -1 respectively.

Fog veil decreases ranged damage by 25% from initial 10%.

Warpath bonus nerfed from 350 to 250 movement points.


*NEW* in 1.05


Rot zombie's weakening strike decrease of attack by 3 (the in-game description still put "by 2").

The Sorrow Strike is on Expert lvl(not Basic)


*NEW* in 1.07 changes thanx to broadstrong's discovery

Amulet of Necromancy This pendant increases Necromancy skill by +10% and decrease the number of Dark Energy points needed to raise the creature by 10%.


*NEW* in 1.12


Dark Renewal skill should it happened that any Destructive, Dark, Wasp Swarm or Divine Vengance not mass magic spell is completely(area spells) resisted by the target, the hero gains back all the mana spent to cast that spell and her/his ATB value drops to 0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 depending on Sorcery skill mastery. Doesn't work for Warlock Irresistable Magic.


Force Arrow doesn't stun the enemy.

Leap This creature can leap on any enemy target, at great distance, getting a 10 % attack bonus for every tile it goes over. After the leap, the demon lands on the tile next to the target, and is exposed to double bonus retaliation. The leap can't be longer than twice the Grunt's normal movement range(8 tiles), and it can't be shorter than three tiles (activated ability).

Ignite Fire spells casted by hero in combat will ignite the enemies, inflicting 100% of current spell damgage to the target during the next 3 turns.



If there will be any minor bug reported that can be easily fixed this patch should be updated.

A good idea Nebdar, updating the text files so the descriptions match the changes introduced by the patch. I'm not sure the list is complete though I guess you checked the thread you linked. I'll post if I find anything to report.

Nebdar's mod in English, but you can always edit the files yourself. All you have to do is use this mod for references, find the text files in your language (or translate them yourself) and edit them with the notepad. There's nothing to it as you can see but it's a good idea nevertheless.

Yes it's only for English version users(the only language i know very well).
Yes Cleave read the thread probably whole but i could missed something, any help or suggestion what to add would be welcomed

Any other thoughts how to improve this "patch" anyone with changes that majority will accept them and install it

I think there are more cosmetic changes that need to be changed.  Currently, I can only think of the rot zombie's decrease of attack by 3 (the in-game description still put "by 2").

Also are you intending to change the descriptions only due to 3.1 patch, or change all incorrect descriptions?  If it is the latter then there are MANY descriptions calling for a change (or even added words for better description)

I my intesion is to fix everything that is wrong and can be fix by fan made mod(patch), so not only description but ingame balances too, maybe add ann graphic mod same as xazardous mod.
Thanx for reply and help >Because i have made an NecroPowerPAck Mod i forgot to change the description of RotZombie Weakening Aura.
Any propostions and opnions are welcome

Can't we try to keep this MOD in action? Let's add new fixes from time to time, we can also call some Temple guys to help us with the balance

Let's add Divine Vengeance mod by Alci. And how about Dungeon's invisibility.

(Don't start the changes, let's just discuss new changes.)

Not sure it's a good idea to add mine, Vokial, since it might not be compatible with multiplayer, which I think the text changes are (am I mistaken?).

As I know (never experimented with it), for Multi, both (they may be more than 2 actually) players should install the mod, and it's done...

Exactly, you just need to have the same Mods to work perfectly.

Why do people like to play custom maps in multiplayer (and you both need to have the same maps in the Maps folder when playing, as you know), but not Mods?

Not sure if it has been fixed (haven't played since 3.0) but tooltip description on school of magic Sp upgrade still had "attack improves combat damage of creatures". while knowledge had "..." tooltip".
