We are in game, day 4, week 2, month 2
I tried to make same moves, same army placement etc ... Havez Academy - Ossir Sylvan Still not very clear to my how to beat this academy

i think is the art help me get the win not the hero
i get the dragon eye ring and ring of celerity,dragon bone Greaves
and shield of the dwarven kings and
ring of speed .above all i get the lion's spirit +golden horeshoe. perfect~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!

My Ossir inventory - Staff -20 to speed, Dragon Eye, Dragon Teeth, Dragon wing, Ring of broken will
How about to put ring of speed back in his native slot ? From my practice on Genesis i get this combo not so hard - dragon eye, ring of celerity, staff or ring of speed ...

No NO... The MERE possibility of Staff and Ring being found by 1 player is not acceptable. Acadamy is already almost unbeatable as it is.. you want them to maybe have 120% initiative??
This was Genius solution from Fiur to put it in same slot as Staff... that way they can both be on map and not banned..
** Honestly I would love to see better scripting freedom back like in Heroes 4... where map makers could add custum scripts like... If: Acadamy then: cannot pick up Staff or Ring ever!

There's a bit too many knowledge boosts in genesis .. Maybe remove some?

Then you cripple all the other magic towns. And even more so that poor might hero that bearly can scrape up 9 knowledge and wants to make some casts in battle.

Oh ok , 36 is normal, just saw the replay Not the kind of 50-60 u get in battlezone
There's alot of diff in army size though.
Prolly need to rush academy to death in this situation before they get mini arties

BTW.. SQ... BattleZone has undergone a recent update about month ago... I removed 50% of the Major artifacts around map... And all but 1 each artifact merchant... for each player... so that HIgh knowledge isnt guarenteed anymore.

This sound to my like - academy late game is imbalanced, only thing you can do is to rush ... What to do on map were rush is impossible ? Example - random map size impossible, or even Genesis were academy refuse to fight but try to do exchange of towns and visiting opponent knowledge busters ?
In my opinion last replay show up why Sylvan need Wyngaal ... Yes, Wyngaal is perfect balanced hero for late game. Why to consider balanced academy that get initiative, attack and defence bonuses with every level + from knowledge from arties, but ban Wyngaal (he get initiative bonuses only for first turn) ? And DV not look imbalanced too in game like that ...

Maybe leave knowledge busters, but remove some Sylanna's Ancients ? For Academy they are knowledge boosters, for other factions not so. And this may offer more time before academy get this crazy initiative bonus.

Too bad i can't test Wyngaal, and play vs him on Genesis Maybe disable ban him on Genesis ? Anyway all knows he is in ban now... But if i want to play vs him, why not ?

I often wondered why Sylvan of all towns had an Intiative hero like wyngaal.. Besides Acadamy's mini arts.. Sylvan is the Highest in initiative town, and they make them with a Super Initiative hero???? It would make more sense to make a Power Initiative hero for some of the slower initiative towns.
Sylvan already has far far to many weapons at its disposal.. add to that and even greater First Strike !! Come On... lets be realistic here.
Dont forget its not Genesis fault taht Acadamy is insanely strong with mini arts.. Its the Drunken UBI team that was so high on drugs the night they was making this game.. that seeing flying pink elephants... Green Giraffes and ohh yea... lets make it so Acadamy can get 40%+ initiative with mini arts... lol Who cares about balance.

Academy heroes are weak in general in stats, so the mini arties compensate for that. But mentoring a might hero and passing the mini artie equipped troops to them is so much nowadays.
But in TOTE , they gave some stupid perks to other races when its reserved for specific races.
Example :
Last stand, swift mind to dungeon
Mentoring, ignite, to all
Stormwind to all - this alone makes sylvan hopeless. -2 speed -2 int to all flyers, means no first strike when they're supposed to kill fast. Is that a bug ?? Supposed to be -1,-1

I've had same game vs chn. I suppose he used same strategy, even if he played with fewer army...

edit> I noticed no logistics for gilrael, and have really doubts about what infinitus' choices for main hero

You weren't supposed to play the replay exactly as the first time ... and vimp didnt do that, he blocked your double ressurection this time on unicorns, and shot with fireball from mages instead of normal attack.
There is no way you can win this battle, of course, as you have too small army, but everyone can notice the difference between ranger and Wizard on the first strike of the dancers... which unfortunatelly was different on atb this time, or else the titans would've been unable to shoot the Arcanes, and you would've had the opportunity to shoot once with them
In the end, I think we can say that a level 26 Gilraen, is more powerfull than a level 29 Havez for this kind of battle and that's why this strategy shouldn't be allowed, not with minis onboard. Imagine the power if Gilraen was able to set avenger also

I saw the replay, and I dont understand this post now. Why anyone think that Gilraen is a might hero, it casted mass slow and mass haste, so at least two magic he had.

i have a test .map ;genesis.i am necropolis.but i make a double-line (two mian hero ) zoltan lev18 (no menttoring) telsek 20 because firedragon is dungeon when his power arrive 30 add Emerald Slippers.necropolis have no any chance to beat him.so i wanna know if i use telesk i have chance to win .how poor is telesk.he only make normal attack on the battle .let's me think this not happen on genesis and it happen on AOW telesk not bad.
but i think i will lose the game
BTW :why ban hagassh on this map .only hope of orc on this map .dark magic can beat she

Necro Beats Dungeon ! Atleast I havent lost with Necro yet on Genesis... and NEVER vs. Dungeon.
I think you are just used to over analyzing games to much...
