What do you want to be in Patch 3,2?

Hi my name is Sweetcake, I am new to this Forum but I have checked around a bit and i have yet to encounter something like this. So my question is. What do ou want to see in Patch 3,2? Personally I want to see some kind of create function in the game. For you who doesn't understand what I mean I mean that I wan't there to be a function where you can design your own hero. There will be a selection of specials that you can choose for them. But you can design the description of the specials yourself. And the design function will be that you can design how an unique hero can look like.


This is what I want to see in Patch 3,2, But what do you wan to see?

Hmm... create tool? Awesome!

I'd buy an expansion for just that feature...

Can't think of anything else really... apart from some balance tweaking, but I'm not really sure... I'm no H5 expert.

So... this patch has been confirmed huh? Didn't know that... I thought it was just Luc's ranting

We know nothing specific but I'm pretty sure there will be one. The matter is when There isn't something specific I'd want apart from some balance changes, maybe pyraminds/utopias giving spells according to your magic skills, maybe mage guilds 'recharging' so that you get a new batch of spells per month.

also,the old spell gaining system from dragon utopias would be cool,the new one is bad,i mean it isnt fun if you have only exp.light magic but you get spells like PM,vampirism conjure phoenix etc but not single light magic spell after defeating guards of dragon utopia.

Didn't Fabrice say that we'd be getting something significant added to ToTE, some new feature or something? Maybe a hero creator is something that's on the cards... Or did he say content rather than feature?

No, it is not. We have more planned, even if we are closer to the end than the start of the patch plan at this stage. We have some more content for Tribes, and even (hopefully) an important upgrade. But that will come later - no tentative date.

- Nerfed Arcane Archer
- Increased Defence of the Minotaur Taskmaster
- Increased Initiative of the Minotaur Captain
- All Zombies are given Taunt
- Divine Vengeance Nerfed
- Wyverns are given Bloodrage
- Effect of Spoils of War increased
- Herald of Death becomes a Logistics perk instead of a Leadership one
- Necromancers cannot choose Leadership anymore. Instead, the Chances of Luck and Light Magic are increased by one.
- Fixing the AI at all difficulty levels
- Make sure the game is easier to mod
- Make sure adding towns is easier (like in Kronos1000's ToK)
- More Single Scenarios
- Increase the dammage of Implosion and Armageddon or Make both spells cheaper
- Nerf the Horror Dragon's Sorrow Strike
- Increase the Attack and Dammage of the Brisk Raiders or boost Wheeling attack
- Increase the Red Dragons Defence and Minimal Damage
- Nerf Crushing blow (like it does 50% damage to your own units instead of 100%)
- Decrease the Rare Resource cost of some Academy Building
- Balance the Duel Heroes (Shak, Karli, Irina, Anwen!!)
- Increase the uses of the First Aid tent
- Allow War machines of the affected by Divine Strength (Catapult, Ballista), Haste (Ballista, Catapult, First Aid tent), Deflect Missile (All) and their Opposite Spells (Weakness, Slow) and Sorrow (Ballista, Catapult)
-  Make Sure the Random Map Editor Creation Functions are deepened (like how many Castles do you want to the map, which castles, etc...)

well if it content,unique hero models and arties what you use would be seen in combat for excample,if you use dragon scale armor,your hero would wear it in combat.

Zombies don't need taunt they are good as they are. Necro doesn't need a boost atm.
Likewise wyverns don't need bloodrage, that's overkill.
AI cannot just be fixed and hoping to get it atm is unrealistic at best.
Implosion and armageddon boost hahaha
Horror dragons are still crappy..
Academy doesn't need lower resource costs, they are fine trust me.
More uses for first aid tent means more neutral abuse. Yeah right.
Light boosted warmachines I'm still laughing

I don't know about Armageddon, but Implosion is weak. Compare it with Deep Freeze:

Implosion costs 18 Mana and does only 33% more damage than Deep Freeze.
Deep Freeze costs 11 Mana and also has that additional effect of increasing the damage the target receives for one round.

Oh and don't start with the Emerald Slippers, there's also an Evercold Icicle for Deep Freeze Not to mention it can also be boosted by Master of Ice and Cold Death

There is no way in a million years that Nival's going to make that happen in Heroes V.

It is required, it now gives the necro player something to think about for the upgrade

Then I can also wish that peasants have 10 HP, rush dive ability not limited to once per battle, each archangel resurrect 200HP, seraphs have a damage of 75-75 and can use 35% of HP of last killed creatures to resurrect own troops
- Increase the uses of the First Aid tent
- Allow War machines of the affected by Divine Strength (Catapult, Ballista), Haste (Ballista, Catapult, First Aid tent), Deflect Missile (All) and their Opposite Spells (Weakness, Slow) and Sorrow (Ballista, Catapult)
Agree that first-aid tent should have more uses or at least 2-3 more healing actions, but if war machines can be strengthened by spells, war machine heroes would become too powerful (triple ballista + ring of machine affinity is already imba enough)


Generally I agree with Lexxan's ideas, apart from those I highlighted.  I would also wish to see that the building plan screen (the one where you choose which building to build) is complete view by default.
Also, the RMG, while adding more features, has a glaring bug now it seems; it generates maps where there are, say, 7 subterranean entrances on ground level and 6 sub-exits on underground.  Such errors in the map-generating needs to be fixed quite urgently.

You can do that easily, I have it like that

Open the following file with NotePad:

My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East\Profiles\*YourProfile*\user_a2.cfg

Find the following line:

setvar view_state = 0

And replace it with:

setvar view_state = 1


NOTE: It's a LOONG time since I did this, and I am not sure that the "view_state" value is the one, but I'm sure it was something in this file and my bet is on this variable.
