I agreed  I have a excellent idea for ICTC 4.0 ^^
Anyway, a faction contest could be based on the "Converse setting to HoMM-Contest" with different rounds based on other universes.
Here is some examples of rounds: Star Wars (;P), Warcraft, Starcraft, Fable, Halo, LOTR etc
You would just create one town based on another universe and then judges would swap all the times (so people who acctualy know something about Star Wars or Warcraft would be judges in those rounds).

I've drained myself of imagination completely this year... all I can think of right now is improving old ones... that's allowed right? (in the ICTC)
A bit early to ask questions but anyway.

That's an interesting suggestion.
The point is, that it was good when it was relevant. The actual contest went very well, but it reached its highlight on the 7th round. I said I believe any continuance wouldn't be so good, but there was the Bonus Faction Comptition anyway, and it worked fine. Not a big as the original contest was, but it worked.
I will talk to Alc and together we will decide what to do. I hope we'll come up with an original idea.  I can't tell you to wait for ICTC4, because that's very far ahead, but meanwhile, go to the Finding Harmony Town Competition, by the time we make our decision.
