New Castle Suggestion - Spires
Hey y'all heres a new suggestion for hmm4 castles. If you have any suggestions for castles or any opinions please include them on this thread.
1.a. Nimbus (sky pixie) Building:Cloud Lantern
b. Palastrom (lightning swordsman) Building:Bolt Academy
2.a. Crenta (cloud range-strike) Building:Biosphere
b. Albaquirk (giant bird-like monster) Building:Sky Nest
3.a. Flappar (winged beast[can't fly])Building:Wing Tower
b. Supreme (cast lightning)Building bservatory
4.a. Wizard Dragon (cast random spells)Building:Enchanted Caverns
b. Tempest Warrior (powerful horsemen)Building:Storn Castle

Overall very good. I like the idea for this new town, as it's dreamy surrealistic cloudy setting makes it very magical and fairy-tale like to me. I would think it's strength lies in the mystery and illusions of fog, and though they are rather weak, their specialties allow them to slip through enemy attacks like the air itself.
1a. The Nimbus is a good idea. They could in addition to flying also have a 20% chance to confuse when they attack (confused creatures only retaliate at 1/4 strength)
b. Palastrom is a good idea as well... a little clarification perhaps? It sounds cool and I think the Palastrom should be immune to all lightning spells (if there happen to be any/a lot in Homm4)
2a. I would change the Crenta to a Yeti (has to be walker) that is slow but tough. Has the ability to "Freeze" and gain 100% of it's attack as defense
b. Change the name: Albaquirk becomes Storm Eagle. Quick and since is made of winds only takes 50% damage from lightning magic and missiles.
3a. Air Warrior- swirling winds within a suit of armor, the Air warrior is like the Storm Eagle in that it only takes 50% damage from all regular attacks. Takes 200% damage from all lightinig magic, and magic based attackers gain +50% damage to the Air Warrior.
b. Banshee- ranged lightning attack that has a three-radius path on the way to the target and damages at full strength any other enemies standing in the way.
4a. Weather Witch- a sorceress of lightning, wind and snow, the weather witch has a hailstorm attack that does damage to a 9 hex area. She also has the ability to cast a random nature spell on a random allied creature (this mean either damage or beneficial, excluding spells like summmon elemental and force field)
b. Valkyrie- has the ability to resurrect dead as Spirit Warriors (once per battle, in according to the myth of the Valkyries carrying off dead heroes to Valhalla.) Spirit Warriors are top 2nd/bottom 3rd level creatures (right in the middle) that take 200% damage from all magic and magic-based attacks, but only 25% damage from all regular attacks. Like elementals, they do not stay after the battle.

Interesting ideas i like the storm eagle and maybe it should go for all troops that they only take 50% from lightning spells. Do you have any castle ideas?

cool castle... but find a way to fit it in the magic-star of homm4 in such a way that it's possible for an expansion. I for one, have no ideas anymore...

I know it may sound stupid but what exactly is a succubus? Is it some sort of demonic creature or one of those preserve type ones?
