- +5 growth can happen on day 1 of any week. Not sure for which creatures this can happen, but I recall at least for any kind of level 7 unit. But in opposit to double growth, there won't appear tons of neutral stacks on the map.
I experienced a double production of Black Dragons in SoD once: neutral stacks were placed all over the map, but the game crashed. Bug?

2Rainalcar: N is number of creatures in a neutral group. Charisma = Power_Factor + Diplomacy_Level + Symphathy (I have just opened LM Oracle source code  ). See 'Diplomacy internals' thread.
About your last post: all is OK: Ch = -3 + 3 + 2. I think your hero had Expert Diplomacy Am I right now?

N was weird to me because it shows, it seems, only up to 4000 units (normal maximum growth), even those stacks that are preset to more units.
Rest seems ok, I'll now look at the other thread. Hope you mentioned money join as well
Could you please hint how you figured this all out?

By any chance, do you know the answers to these:
-exact plague probability
-exact chances for double growth and +5 growth for every creature, and in total per week
