The Garuda is both one of the most powerful known birds, and also the worst enemies of serpents and dragons. Indeed, they know how to deal with opponents much bigger than them, by targetting vital organs first.

When I first see the name Garuda I thought it is going to be a reskinned phoenix model 
Anyway, nice idea with the Anti-Giant. Vorpal sword is nice too, but if it can be renamed into "Vorpal Claws" or "Beak of Death" will be better.

This is probably my favourite NFC created so far .
I just think it's kind of overdoing it to give creatures abilities for "style" purposes if you know what I mean. In this particular case I'd say "Bravery, Lay Hands and Vorpal Sword" are added because it fit's the overall "theme" of the creature but it kinds of spoils it's balance. That however is my personal perception. The creature would be great with just fire immunity and antigiant I think if you'd like to make it more powerful I'd go over stats not over abilities. But hey it's a great NFC .

Nice one, indeed. It does good whitout Lay hands i recon. It's basically lv7 creature but it's the growth what counts really.

I hesitated about "lay hands". I also thought about rune of exorcism, but I think they will only be able to use it once.

Nice creature.
I don't find it that powerful myself. It should be compared with two Paladins, which:
- deal more damage than the creature
- have more HP (200)
However, to compensate, the creature has a little more Initiative. The Anti Giant and Vorpal Sword are there to compensate for the very powerful "Charge" ability. The Paladin also has Lay Hands, like this creature.
So I think it's pretty balanced.

Indeed a good job(even though it's more powerful than a Bone Dragon), but... What's Garuda?

I can quickly say it's the worst enemy of the naga, and one of the incarnations of vishnu (another one being the naga lol)
actully my garuda is different from the mythological one, it's more inspired by the FF12 garuda, which is a dragon killer if I remember well (which would be if it were a real garuda).

I compared with the thunder thane. and I wanted them slightly less strong than 2 thunder thanes.

yeah, but bone dragons have a better growth (at least in the castle)
and actually it's also more powerful than a spectral dragon.

I think the griffin icon in the screen shot is really a griffin in its army....so there is not a picture of the garuda icon in the master thread
For my share, the lay hands ability is good idea....because this is a first creature to use it...and moreover perhaps it doesn't have hands but it has wings

Yes! ...and that does not make badly....I go on to prefer the "Vorpal Sword" term instead of "Tueur Systématique" (Systematic Killer)...mhh.. Fauch!!
