HOMM 2: Questions
Im thinking about buying Heroes of Might&Magic 2 but i was wondering:
1. Is it still active? How many players play it? Any tournaments?
2. Is there cheaters? Bugs? Is it balanced?
3. Does it work on Windows Vista?

1. I'm afraid not, but I still play it sometimes on hamachi with my friends.
2. You cannot cheat during online play (I think). No game bugs afaik.
Balanced? Well. That's tough question. I think NOT but still it's a very good game
3. I don't have a clue. It SHOULD work...

How many players there are usually online in Heroes 2? 0? 10? 50? 100?
Edit: And about Heroes 3... Can some1 answer to those same questions about Heroes 3?

There are certainly more people playing Heroes 3 than 2, that's for sure. I cannot give you an exact number, but if you watch the ToH forums, you will find players and tournaments.
About balance, people usually enlist their own set of rules before starting a game, i.e. no necro, no logistic mains, etc. Depends on the players.
And H3 also works on Vista, though I myself have experienced several issues with stability a n number of times. If you would have to choose between H2 and H3 for online playing purposes, I would suggest going for H3. There are more people playing it.

I have had both games many many years. Heroes 2 (maybe 10 years) and 3 (maybe 7 years) but both are pirates so i have never played multiplayer games. Now i really wanna play them online, so i might buy both if i just can find them

Can someone tell me how I can obtain the CD music of HoMM2? I desperately need them and cannot find them anywhere. When I find it somewhere, the link always turns out to be corrupted. Anyone willing to help would have my utmost gratitude!

I would really appreciate it. I miss them greatly and cannot find them anywhere. Would uploading them to rapidshare be illegal? I had once purchased the game and would purchase it again if it was sold but that's not the case.

I found an image of HOMM2 but it is only 236MBs. How large was the original? (I'm still desparately looking for the cd-tracks of HOMM2 :/ )
