All right - movies again - but watched lots of movie lastly so here are my

Braveheart, Conan, Gladiator, Excalibur, Dune (the new one tv-miniseries)

Tora Tora Tora! (The Pearl Harbor movie - you have to see), Patton (George Scott is so good in this movie).

Underground (Kousturitza), Black Cat/White Cat (Kousturitza)

The Firm, Snatch.

and comes now one of the best

GODFATHER, Goodfellaz, HOFFA (i liked that one - even if they say that HOFFA was real evil - DeVito and Jack Nicholson to the top!).

LIFE OF BRIAN, Wholly Moses, Spaceballs, Ridling Saddles, History of the World (IT'S GOOD TO BE THE KING!)

Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Blair Witch Project.

The Kevin Costner Robin Hood is one of the worst movies ever made, period.  He takes a terrific and classic story about class struggle and political intrigue between the saxons and the normans and turns it into a movie where the bad guy sheriff has a magic witch and is a satan worshiper.  The writers clearly don't believe that the audience is smart enough to get the real story.  What a worthless piece of crap.

i agree to some point.... Kevin Costner... there was one good movie about him - and here the story about it:

"Little red riding hood was waiting for her date - the wolf, to came in - but he was very late. On the morning  wolfie exhausted and sweating comes at little red riding hood house:
- Where you've been yesterday, wolfie - I've been waitin for ya?
- Well, gee - this Kevin Kostner - meet me on the road - and we have to dance all night - he said he was training for something".

It was filmed cool, but the Story...
I prefer "Robin Hood: men in tights" - this one is a parody to Kevin Kostner's.

IF we are talking about ruining a story, then take the American version of The Musceteers. The one where the Cardinal kidnaps the king . Oh My God! That was THE worst version of the book. Basically the only thing in common between the two is the names of the characters.

Ahhh, So you too got my point
Yes this is the worst film ever about such a intriguing story.
I now the story , in fact I have read it in English original. There is a lot you can learn reading between the lines.
That is why you can't appreciate the film from the first sight.
My first opinion was that it was stupid.
But then I saw it accidentally again and look from the comic point of view.
Knowing the real facts i was suprisingly amused by the film.
Then watched it again and again.
It is the best comedy ever

braveheart was mentioned often enuf, ill throw in some older horror movies like halloween or nightmare on elmstreet, i really enjoyed those.

my 2nd favorite after bravehearth is john carpenters "the thing", anyone saw it?
its about a alien intruder orgnism that prefectly consumes and copies lifeforms, a team of researches frees it from the ice in the antarktica, and in the form of a dog it starts copying the team members and noone knows who is real and who not.
