Background: Thummre was orphaned at an early age.Because of her violent spouts (She has ADHD) she was not alowed to live with relatives. so she picked the path of something in the Middle of A Bard and a barbarian.
Minotaurs can have learning disabilites, right?

now i believe I shall create my own fun character.
he is not the main character (the main character will be revealed throughout the story) so don't worry.
Name: Velthulio Avaris Romero
Nickname: The Dark Saint
Age: 135 (though he looks like he is in his prime)
Race: Human, but is afflicted with a demonic curse that gives him
immortality, greater strength, strange demonic powers, and a
mutated left arm (darkened, and harder skin, and with occasional
crystal-like horns sprouting up in certain places)
Powers: can conjure a strange red lightning from his left arm,
ridiculous physical strength (for a human), and various
arcane magics.
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Background: Velthulio was born on the East Island of Chandar. Being raised in an orphanage, he never knew his poor parents. When he was 14, a mage from Esteon visited the orphanage to visit the children for a small magic show. The mage, Elion, then left two days after arriving. However, Velthulio, in a sudden want for adventure, stowed away on Elion's horse-drawn wagon. Sneaking away some of Elion's rations to prevent starvation, Velthulio lived in Elion's wagon for three days until arriving to the ship that would transport Elion back Esteon. That is when Elion found Velthulio hiding in the wagon. Elion attempted to teleport him back to the orphanage, but Velthulio somehow resisted it. That is when Elion found magical potential in Velthulio and took him as an apprentice. Velthulio learned very quickly and soon became a very well trained magician by the age of 20. Then, being the dangerously curious type, he teleported into the Wizard's Archives in the capital of Archeon. There, he stole a book on demon summoning. Wishing to gain control of demons, he summoned a very powerful demon from the Demon world of Lath. There, he summoned the dormant spirit of Ignatius, one of Latherikan's greatest champions. Within his secret chambers below the city of Werugrin, he battled the powerful demon. Being well versed in demonic lore, Velthulio had an advantage over Ignatius by striking at the demon's weaknesses. Then after 2 days of constant battle, Ignatius fell to Velthulio's magical might. As a last resort, Ignatius used a curse, forbidden by the Demonic Council, that tainted Velthulio's left arm, embedding Ignatius's spirit within Velthulio. At first, he was able to fight it off, but after witnessing the arm's full power, Velthulio submitted to Ignatius's will completely. Ignatius then controlled Velthulio and made the human do horrendous deeds, including finding Ignatius's old demon sword, the Asmodeus Darksword. However, Velthulio found strength within himself and fought off Ignatius's spirit and with a paladin's help, banished the spirit back to from whence it came. However, though Ignatius's was gone, his curse and faint whisper still remains. Though Velthulio is not bound to Ignatius's will, he hears a whisper within his head as a more evil and twisted version of Velthulio himself, persuading him to commit even greater acts of evil. This would have not been such a great problem, had Velthulio not kept the Asmodeus Darksword for himself...

time to reveal something for my own starting area 
And a little something extra 
behold Thandarias equivalent to a lotr wraith 
a flaming horse but i dont know what i could name it 
and a dwarf mining camp!
Hard times have fallen on the dwarves. The war in the mountain has ended driving most of the ground dwelling creatures to the surface(minotaurs etc.). The last offensive had been devastating. The dwarf capital had been plundered until it was a shell of its former self. The dwarfs had also been pushed out of their ancestral home. Most major towns had been raided by orcs, minotaurs and harpies( harpies Add more flavor to the underground army). Many dwarf refugees now live in mining camps such as this one. There are rumors that dwarfs are moving down the coastline and have settled in elf and human lands.(remember the dwarfs in homm 3)
name- Nogrit
age- dwarf 20's (40 human years)
Ocupation- regular mine worker
Powers- Recuperates fast after a hangover
Description- Like most dwarfs Nogrit is short and stocky and has a liking for beer. Dwarf mining uniform consists of mainly a kilt, a shield and a long slender pick axe.
Background- Most dwarfs are constantly moving to find mining camps in which to settle down in. Nogrit has already found his place. It seemed as though life had given him a break. He was wrong. An old debt comes back to visit Nogrit and in the process will get him back on the move again.

now i shall begin with the current events
The alliance of Men, Elves, and Dwarves has all, but shattered. That is when the aggressive Minotaur armies of Meruk invaded Hrevrell. Being part of the Arughal treaty, the Goblin, Orc, Troll, and Ogre forces joined in the fight against the poorly outnumbered dwarves. After three months of conflict, the dwarves surrendered most of their underground kingdom only to find that they had to live in small mining camps to survive. After the devastating war, the dwarves have reunited with the humans and elves and are being to settle in Esteon and Khan-Mar. The nations of the Arughal Treaty know that it is better not to engage in a full-scale war with the entire alliance. Now, however, the Dwarves are trying to rebuild their ruined kingdom, even so, a greater threat lurks beyond...
After the second Demonic Civil war, the Demon High Council has won over Latherikan's monarch reign and has trapped his living spirit within the powerful soulstone that Latherikan had created himself. Not wanting to destroy the peoples of Tharandrias has taken a heavy price upon the demon Emperor. The Demon Lord Morranon, has taken complete control over the Demonic Council as their Chairman. He authorized the complete annihilation of the Latherikan Loyalists and the soul imprisonment of the former Tyrant. Though it may seem that the Demonic Empire is turning towards democracy, fascism and socialism will run throughout it unchecked and unbalanced. Ignatius, now a fugitive from the High Council has remained loyal to Latherikan and is planning the rescue of the King along with other loyalist demons, mercenaries, fallen angels, and corrupted mortals. The third Demonic war is about to begin just as the second finished, creating a wheel of chaos that will remain until both the Council and Latherikan are slain...

i had the same problem if you are talking about screenshots you go in the homm toe file and click compatibility files
specifically
C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Ubisoft\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East
and go into screenshot hq
if you talking about maps then you go into homm tote folder maps and press compatibility files once more.
you can also use the open button in the editor
