[NCF Based] 3rd Upgrades

This mod adds a 3rd upgrade to every creature hireable in a castle. The upgrades are accessibles with a hill fort.

Mod

Alternative mod with changes brought to some of Nivals creatures

Texts in english

Texts in french

New creatures and list of changes in .xls

undocumented change : spells of the water elemental deal 14 + 14 x power damage in the 2nd version.

another note : Deirdre's speciality improves the ability of the new hell horse.

Unzip the mod in the H5 TotE directory.
Put the texts directly in the UserMODS directory.

What is the difference between this and the mod I've diownloaded just yesterday?

Main thread updated, however it looks like a long way till this mod will have all the creatures looking decent. Even great Genie skin is missing.

This mod is rather mixed. There are some simply stunning ones while there are some but ugly ones in there :S.

no differences, it's the release of the 1st finished version of the mod (I could have made this thread earlier, but I kinda forgot about this mod)

Some of these are truely magnificant. I love the Bear Rider with gold armor, and several of the others look great as well. What I would really like to see is a quadrouple line-up for all creatures, i.e. Basic creature, First upgrade, Second upgrade and Third Upgrade, so that we could really compare them.

Now, I see the fix when I download.

I'm sorry I forgot to speak you about « MapObjects/_(AdvMapSharedGroup) »

it's really not necessary you include it in your mod.

Exception if you want to assure your 3rd upgrades in randomstacks but anyway you make conflicts with others NCFs.

Moreover, the version of AdvMapSharedGroup is the original from data.pak so you can make conflicts with all NCFs including yours.

None of NCF Creatures in randomstacks when your mod is working.

Anyway, I think the date of same files in my mod "All NCFs in RandomStacks" are more recents.

Finally, the « MapObjects/_(AdvMapSharedGroup) » is useless and undesirable into a NCF mod.

Replace

Can't the same system used to display the 3rd upgrades on the Hill Fort be made standard on the faction's Town? It's rather annoying if you decide to use a stack of any 3rd upgrade monster, to have to constantly come back to the Hill Fort.

When i look back on this mod and its pictures, i feel that i need to comment the Orcs, and the sylvans looks! They are actually terible! If you ask me, most of them needs a rework..
And when i play the game, and play with all 3rd upgrades, i just hate the Pit Lords 3rd, and the Hydra's 3rd... The flame effect looks so stupid...
But everything else is still awesome..

Having a Third Upgrade is awesome, and I actually like the Hydra's 3rd, I just don't like (or it's a bug) the Matriarch's 3rd (it seems to be almost the same), the Cyclops 3rd, the Orc Warrior's 3rd, and many others... On the other hand some are awesome, like the Acid Dragon, War Priest, Gremlin Artillerist... Well, I just wished that the mod could be integrated in-town
