before my duel with father (yeah I know I have been away for a while) I would like to change my stats. remove all from defense and add to agility. do the same with magic resistance. now I'm ready!

dc? what is the point of retreating?
as of right now there is no reason to retreat imo... Killing your opponent doesn't do anything ( other than create tension) and your opponent still gets a victory point.

Many of the rules doesn't apply to anyone yet.
The rules are if magic is allowed, if symbiote is allowed, if spirits are allowed, if weapons are allowed etc. alhough the only rules that matters for you is if magic is allowed and if/when you shall retreat.

I think he meant rules of changing stats. If it so, that is rules: 1st time changing stats is free. Then you have to loose as many victory points as many red stars you have. For novice 2nd change would also cost 1 VP.
