And I think they do best in their own town (okay, the Fortress could do with a bit of work, but no more than fitting them in elsewhere).

your faction is for my lizards

1. axolote ( walker, minor regeneration, aquatic capacity)
   Axolote eats meat (walker, minor regeneration, anger, aquatic capacity)
   axolote defender ( walker, minor regeneration, shield allies , aquatic capacity)
2. lizardman Archer (shooter, aquatic capacity,)
  Lizardman poacher (shooter, set snares, aquatic capacity)
  Lizardman traverses marsh (walker, agility, aquatic capacity)
3. serpent fly (filer, dispels all beneficial spells on the target, aquatic capacity)
dragon fly ( filer, dispels all beneficial spells on the target, Hexing Attack, aquatic capacity)
      dragon parasite (filer, life drain, parasitism, aquatic capacity)
4. cobra quack (caster(regeneration), Walker, semi poisonous (1 per cobras quack),aquatic capacity)
      cobra escupidora shaman (caster(regeneration, cleansing), shooter, poisonous(2 per cobras shaman), to flood, aquatic capacity)
      Mamba black (walker, Ultra poisonous (6 per mambas) aquatic capacity)
5. eel (walker, no enemy retaliation, aquatic capacity)
Electrical eel (walker, Aquatic lightning’s, storm strike, no enemy retaliation, aquatic capacity)
      Fire eel (walker, fire shield, mark of fire, no enemy retaliation, loss of fire)

Um.. Martin_Tufi, your ideas don't make a lot of sense. Most people don't know what an axolote is (me being one) and "axololote eats meat" and "Lizardman traverses marsh" are more like incomplete sentances than unit names. Let me guess... English is not your first language. That's ok, but please try to allow native english speakers to understand

Rampart would be a great name for them. At first I didn't really liked this town but it is unique, and had a great music in h3

I say keep the gnolls and add the Behemoth as lvl7 creature with a hiena like head, since Dungeon took back Hydras.
We could also add Evil eyes, and Medusa in the mix, or maybe even Trogloydites. Dungeon had a nice set of swamp like creatures and since h5 made them into sneaky elves we could use them greatly here.

Trogloydite->Infernal Trogloydite/Trogloydite Shaman
Gnoll Warrior->Gnoll Marauder/Gnoll Ambusher
Lizard Archer->Lizard Hawkeye/Lizard Wizard
Serpent Fly->Dragon Fly/Acid Fly
Beholder->Argus/Evil Eye
Medusa->Gorgon/Medusa Queen
Behemoth->Hellskin Behemoth/Ancient Behemoth

As you can see the left side has a rather fiery approach, which may seem unlikely for a swamp themed town but I think it goes well and really makes two separate factions.

Trogs are ofcourse immune to blind, and while infernals has some resistance to fire and superior stats, the Shamans can haste the units, and even cure them.

Gnoll Marauders would have double attack, while Ambushers would be faster.

Lizard Hawkeyes would have no range penalty, and wizard could cast slow, and some weak damaging water spell but no ranged attack.

Dragon Flies with better stats and maybe breath attack, while their acidic bothers would ofcourse spit poison, and maybe weakness too.

Evil Eyes with random negative spell, and Argus with constant Dispell.

Medusas would use a bow, but Gorgons would have only melee and a greater chance to stone the enemy.

Hellskins with full immunity to damaging fire spells or maybe even fire shield, while Ancients would root the enemy and be slower tanks with unlimited Retal.


Hero would be Beastmaster and Witch like in H3(this is if they bring back dual hero classes for h6) and they would ride Basilisks(same crocodile themed ones from h3 just more massive).

Is that really balanced? 11 times out of 10 I would pick Marauders just for the double damage.

Bastion would be more appropriate since the Rampart is too closely associated with Sylvan creatures due to the popularity of HOMM III. I still want to reserve the Rampart as a possible renaming possibility for the Sylvan.

Sanctuary would be a better name for Sylvan than Rampart, as would Grove.

A chance to go back to my favorite faction from Heroes V... I personaly think it should be something like this:

Gnoll (melee unit 1) ==> Gnoll Warrior/Gnoll Slinger
Lizardman (ranged, unit 2) ==> Lizard Hunter/Lizard Ranger
Dragonfly (flying, unit 3) ==> Dragonfly Venombearer/Dragonfly Behemoth
Snakefolk (magic, unit 4) ==> Naga/Medusa
Bassalisk Rider (cavalry, unit 5) ==> Basalisk Lancer/Basalisk Archer
Lizard Matriarch (heavy melee, unit 6) ==> Lizard Flagbearer/Lizard Warlord
Swamp Monster (ultimate, unit 7) ((Think Marvel comic's "Swamp Thing")) ==> Swamp Guardian/Swamp Stalker


I can't remember how many units you have in the group, but I think that's a good sum of what it should be like, and you know, the Fortress escue army can have the Naga this time, the Wizards can keep everything else >

Towns have 7 creatures, not 6. I've also updated my creature lineup with abilities and pictures.

Updated mine to be 7 units and two upgrades. I don't think second upgrades are going to matter much now, chances are they're left out of the core game of HOMM VI

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Killer-Frog. I think a choice of upgrades will be an important part of HoMM VI, along with a fortress-like faction.
