You all may have noticed that this is kinda .. dead. For which I am sorry. I have plenty of ideas for the game, but never had a clue about exactly what I was getting myself into. I have ran all kinds of games with all kinds of serious effort needed, and this one makes them look like childs play. My heart is just not in it, and that doesn't make a good game.

I'm sorry mytical that it didn't work out. But i am grateful that you put effort into the game even if the steam wore off it was pretty fun.

Depending on how MMVII goes, I might be able to do battle-crunching for this OR take over Helnith. Probably not both, however. If anyone else would be willing to take on one or the other, I'd be happy to walk them through the crunch bits, and pick up whichever one they didn't take.

This one utilizes Natures.
EVs are allocated differently.
Some different items (Pokeball types, f. ex).
Different new Pokemon.
Different plot.

Hmm, well sure it'd be cool enough to participate.
Just wondering, is there focus sash in this and/or the other pokemon rpg [and is it something that's easy to get], it's because I'm considering if a starly with quick attack + endavour + focus sash would not be rather cool, as it get these already at level 17.
Also, in the first post it says starters may not be common pkmn's, are wyanut (the unevolved wobbuffet) seen as uncommon? How about happiny or skarmory?

I think it says no pokemon can be rare. I started with a Meowth.

Alkar is right, no rare (I do not count Eevee as rare since they seem to be as common as dirt in most of the pokemon games, because you can get at least 1 from some person who gives you an egg or eevee). The exceptions are starter pokemon from any of the games (considered rare despite the fact that millions of people would have each lol). I will warn you that a few changes will be in store. Unless you specifically state you try to avoid such, there will be more wild battles when traveling from place to place (except using fly of course).
A few more trainers will challenge you, you might even get challenged in a town.
Any held item but berries will be rare and hard to come by, but HM's and TM moves except Fly will be more accessable. You pay a fee, your pokemon goes through training, and learns the move you are after. The stronger the move, the higher the fee. Fly will only be taught in certain towns in certain regions. One town per region will have somebody who can teach fly. Fly can still be obtained via gym battles from certain gym leaders (usually the ones that use birds).
Levels of gym's pokemons will ADAPT to the level of pokemon you use. Number of pokemon the people in the gym use will NOT be the same as the games, nor will what type of pokemon they use. The gym leaders strongest pokemon will always be about 2 levels higher then the average level of your pokemon (Because often they will have fewer pokemon). If you want to try to find/catch a pokemon let me know, and I will most likely give you the chance if you are in an area that makes sense. This does not include ANY of the following : Legendaries, Shiny Pokemon, Pokemon that would normally come ONLY from an egg (ie the preevolved forms like Pichu), pokemon that have to be evolved by trading to get, and the GM (that is me) holds the right to add to this list when needed and/or somebody gets greedy.
