Or earlier on. Remember that Natu I went after in Helnith? I needed a 67 or lower to catch the little guy with a regular Pokeball. What do I roll? Two 100's in a row. 
It also helps that Ponyta has a Catch Rate of 190. Very glad I called for Headbutt and not Bone Club though!

The only difference would have been less of a chance of KO. Bone club's 65 power would give a 75% chance of not knocking the creature out instead of the 50% chance that Headbutt's 70 power gave. Unless I am missing something . 15-18(bone club) vs 16-19(Headbutt) base damage.

Except Bone Club is a Ground move, so Cubone gets STAB for it on top of a x2 boost to damage for hitting a Fire type. Add that on top of a crit and Bone Club would have resulted in horse burgers.

Eh, don't sweat it. (<--is totally not just saying that because it means Jeremy scored a shiny Pokemon. Honest.)
Serious. I went and crunched the numbers--without STAB, Cubone deals 11-12 damage with Headbutt on Ponyta. Even dealing minimum damage, with a crit that puts Ponyta down to 13 health, and a chance of being caught at 56%, so a 26 would have still caught it.

Jeremy, Derek and Steve got to Violet City to discover it flooding thanks to a mysterious Pokemon on top of the Gym. They made their way to the Gym and beat it off, which de-flooded the city, and are currently exploring.
Yari, Thor, Max and Amber got to Pewter City; Yari and Thor took off and ended up helping some guy fight off goons before Yari teleported off with the egg he was guarding and rejoined Amber and Max. Thor is currently being escorted by the guy to his home.

I will do a Thor/Yari Update soon. Sort of out of gas right now (mentally). Tomorrow night will be a rather large update. Del .. if you want to do anything in the current battle, let me know. There is plenty of ways your character can still influence the battle  .

Hmm I can make an update for you, and move from there. You can wait for Max, Amber, and Yari to arrive (they should be there soon). Those are a couple of options. OR you can try to get one of the Light Pokemon for yourself

Don't really like the consept of the light pokémons...Sure, I would love them to be added in pokémon sooner than later, but I don't really like concept of pokémon made for special RPGs and such.
HOWEVER, I WAS thinking of STEALING one of the light pokémon eggs

1. Is Aduro even still conscious? That Razor Leaf should have hit at least one more Pokemon and her Defense is garbage even without a super effective hit... (Reference.*)

(doh again, razor leaf isn't spe. att? May have to reroll damage then. Didn't know that it was a multi target move. No, Aduro is actually safe, but it would have hit Ponyta also. Will modify. (Since Aduro is on your shoulder until one of the other faint it is safe from attacks.)
