“Are you okay Aduro?” Jeremy asked, petting the little bird with concern. She let out a strained-sounding peep, and Jeremy wondered briefly if he should take her back to the Pokemon Center.
“Do you want to go back to the nurse Aduro?” he asked. Aduro peeped a miserable negative, flapping in place on his shoulder (though she held on with her claws to keep from actually taking off) and straining toward the lighthouse. Then she settled back down with an upset cheeping sound, shivering on her perch.
“You want us to go to the lighthouse?” Jeremy asked, hating to see the little bird so agitated. Aduro peeped again.
“Okay, we’ll go,” Jeremy said, patting her again reassuringly. He set off for the lighthouse; Cubone trundled behind, looking concerned and somewhat bewildered.

Elsewhere, all the light pokemon that the group have start acting oddly. Even Vi comes out of the pokeball and starts shaking and glowing. Eventually they settle down, and Vi goes back into the pokeball, but it is obvious that something has upset the whole group of them.
Cubone Pipes up (Don't you think we should tell the others?)

Jeremy blinked. “Good idea!”
He fished out his Pokedex. “Steve sent us a message with this, do you think we can send one back?” Cubone just watched while Jeremy fiddled with the device. “Umm…”
~hi, this is jeremy and cubone and aduro and i are goin too the lighthouse.~
He pushed the necessary buttons to send it to everyone, and then once the message was on its way added a second as an afterthought.

Thor looked at the bear who both took the tackle and sprouted fire afterwards "It really is a demonical bear. And it resisted the cleansing and exorcising powers of St. Peter! Time to bring out the big gun! Munchlax return!" Thor babbled on, before he took out a packable dressing corner which he put around himself before changing cloths.
He packed the dressing corner and threw a pokéball. Dressed as a terrorist of the east, Thor shouted "Phanpy, come out! Suicidal Jihad tackle!"

Yari: *sigh*, then she thinks: "WHERE THE HELL DOES HE PULL ALL THAT CRAP FROM?! Retardation and now eastern themes?!", then thinks "Ah, nevermind... yet... Hold on a second, catching that bear might piss the geezer off! I got to catch it!".
Yari then grabs a fresh pokeball and throws it like she was in some baseball game towards the beer.

As you head off to Wild Joes, you notice Jeremy headed in a different direction.
((You are able to make it to Wild Joes if you head that way, without any problems))
Yari/Thor
The pokeball goes flying. It connects and absorbs the strange pokemon inside. Phanpy is unable to halt its charge, and goes hurtling toward the pokeball, trips, and falls on top of it. You can not see the pokeball, but the creature does not emerge from under Phanpy.
Jeremy
You come up to the lighthouse, and Aduro flutters to the base near a pile of rocks and bushes. You notice a small window that will let you see inside right next to the little bird pokemon. There is also a door, and a window much higher up.

Aduro let out a single peep, then abruptly quieted as though afraid something would hear her. Jeremy went to go knock on the door, but Cubone stopped him with her club.
(Don’t. Look in there, see what you see,) the Ground type whispered, motioning to the lower window.
“How come?” Jeremy asked at normal volume.
(Shhhh!) Cubone looked around to check for unwanted listeners, then continued. (Because we don’t know what’s in there!)
“Can’t we just knock and ask?” Jeremy responded, now in a whisper.
(No!) Cubone scolded quietly. (We have to see what we’re dealing with first.)
“Oh, okay.”
Jeremy got down on hands and knees and peered into the window.

What you see raises the hair on the back of your neck. It is a labratory with all kinds of different pokemon inside. You see a person inside talking into a recorder, and can barely hear what they are saying.
"Found a mysterious rock, which turned out to have a pokemon inside. Test subject 102 has shown promise, but the experiment causes extream pain to said subject. Next test will probably kill the subject, the first true pokemon death ever recorded, but will provide the final peice of the puzzle. Finally Team Infinitus will be able to fully control the Void and Undead pokemon, and I will have all the funding for my experiments I will ever need. Tomorrow morning I will conduct the final phase."
A feline like creature is on a table, and it looks half dead already. It seems somehow Aduro picked up on it's fellow light pokemon's distress and that is why it acted the way it did. Could it be that this person has found a way to truely kill a pokemon?

"Excuse me, but do you know where Lt. Hibbert is?"

You are eventually guided to the person you are looking for. Looks like the military type. Short cropped hair, clean shaven, muscles that have muscles that have muscles. The odd thing is he doesn't really look old enough to be retired, but that could be because he is in such good shape.

Jeremy’s expression was singularly distraught.
“What should we do?” he whispered back to Cubone anxiously.
(Go in there and knock his lights out of course.) She was already halfway to the door and raising her club over her head.
“No, wait!” Jeremy protested as she swung. “I don’t think we should—”
THUD. THUD. THUD.
The door shuddered under the repeated impacts as the Ground type tried to beat it down. However it seemed she had either overestimated her physical strength or underestimated the durability of the door; there was little tangible effect except for a few marks and a sound like a loud, slow knock.
“Come back!” Jeremy dashed over to retrieve Cubone, just as the sound of footsteps approached the door from inside…

As Vi emerges from her pokeball, Steve becomes a little startled. That was the last thing on his mind. Then, she started doing something odd. He thought she was about to evolve once more, and got out his dex in anticipation of trying to tell the device to just allow it to evolve, but he got no such message. Vi eventually went back into the pokeball, and Steve seemed more puzzled than ever. He figured it was yet another unexplainable event in his current travels.
Steve took a look around Wild Joe's, in search of a tent, and sleeping bag. Then, he got a message from Jeremy.
"Alright. So, I guess we are helping her out then. Well, maybe he's just going to check things out for now. Back to what I was after."
After finding the two items he was looking around for, he heads up to the counter to purchase them.
"Hello! I would like these items, and I have this little certificate to go along with them."

As soon as the Scientist opens the door, your pokemon spring into action. Aduro emits smoke right into his face, and Cubone whacks him on the knee with its bone. Cursing he hops backwards, which lets Cubone push through the door. Blinded and in pain the scientist has no time to do much.
Aduro, being unsually agressive flies up and uses Trill right in his ears. He screams in pain and tries to hold his ears, but that puts him off balance. Cubone pushes him down, sitting on his chest with the bone held over his face. "Cu-cu cubone!" To which the pokedex says (You do not want me to translate that).
Facing down a very mad looking Cubone and an even madder bird the scientist goes very still. "O..ok. I won't move..."

The guy looks at you as if sizing you up. "Just one person would hurt her. The Mayor. Listen I was forced to retire from the force over this, because all the evidence pointed to him but it was all circumstantial without a body. In my gut I KNOW the Mayor did something to her, but I can't prove it. Not without knowing where the body is."
Steve
With the Certificate the grand total comes to 150 pokedollars.

As the demon bear got captured, Thor looked at the red ball with wide eyes. When his phanpy fell on the pokéball, Thor panicked and recalled the little elephant without knowing it himself. He then span once and was back in his normal cloths.
Thor approached the ball and used his stick as a poking stick and poked it a few times. "ALLRIGHT! The devil bear has been safely sealed away in this little red holy ball from heaven! The angels themself will long sing about this day which the world avoided certain destruction by the string of a hair!" Thor rambled on...

Aduro peeped angrily at the scientist on the floor, spitting sparks and nearly setting his hair on fire in the process; Jeremy had never seen a Pokemon so furious, and out of the quiet little featherball it was even more unnerving.
Eventually she seemed to run out of things to say; leaving the scientist to Cubone, Aduro fluttered over to the injured cat-thing. She nudged the creature gently with her beak and peeped in a worried, questioning sort of way.
Cubone meanwhile had her bone club poised to smash the man’s nose, and was unleashing a venomous tirade on the not-so-unfortunate human at the top of her lungs.
“(YOU) CUBONE! (HOW WOULD YOU LIKE BEING EXPOSED TO EXTREME PAIN, YOU) CU-CU CUBONE!”
Apparently the Pokedex couldn’t translate swearwords.
Cubone continued on in that vein for some time; Jeremy peeked in the doorway, clutching Harriet for courage and sheepishly wondering if he was going to have to wash the Ground type’s mouth out with soap.

She felt like hitting the insane rambler in the face, but he could be really useful later on. But he could forget after some sleep, what a dilemma?
She sighed, then picked up the pokeball and rushed back to the building where the eggs was guarded, and attempted to drag the geezer with her. What a mess.
