Steve just sat, listening to the Elekid ramble on, saying, "Elekid, Elekid, Ele, Ele, Elekid..." Eventually, the dex started doing something quite a bit odd again.
"Elekid Translation Complete"
"What? What has this blasted machine done now?"
Removing the dex from his pack, Steve soon realized that the Elekid seemed to actually be talking to him. He looked at the pokemon strangely, but then remembered from earlier. That whole thing with Cubone from before. The machine must have done the same with this Elekid.
With that knowledge, Steve returns to just sitting with the Elekid, listening to it ramble on. Eventually, he decides to join in.
"None of you own kind? Well, I can imagine that could be a little disappointing. Though, you did mention that you like trying to outsmart people. That must keep you entertained enough, as there seem to be enough people around here to do so with. Enough to keep you distracted from your lack of friends, though? That I am not so sure of. I do know I am running out of time though, but this safari thing, in the end, seems a little silly. Using food and mud to catch pokemon? The way the food and mud helps to lure them in, then catch them? I don't totally get how I was able to get that Honchcrow in such a great position, and actually use that advantage, before it flew away, to use enough mud on it. I do think that this experience was well worth the time and effort to try out once. Plus, I have a few new friends that have joined my team. You can also be my friend, if you would like, but I am through with this mud."
Steve takes one of the remaining pokeballs, and tosses it in front of the Elekid.
"There you go, if you want. And as far as this food being good goes, I have yet to try it out. Maybe I will, just to see."
Steve takes a bite of the food.

The elekid grins. (Well..technically it is against the rules, but you seem nice enough. Maybe you will find another elekid or electabuzz for me to play with.) It touches the pokeball and gets pulled inside. The ball shakes a couple of times and lays still just before the buzzer goes off.
Elekid - Nature Naughty*, Sex Female, Static.

"Are you sure about this?... I'll check it out with you. But you will have to bring me to the lighthouse."

Jeremy nodded miserably. “Thank you! Just let me tell Steve…”
Jeremy pulled out his Pokedex and poked around with the controls until he managed to get a text off. It read:
~steve, theres a bad man in teh lighthouse an hes hurting pokemon! were goin back too save them. bye.~
“Okay let’s go,” Jeremy said. He pushed out the door, Cubone trotting behind him, and started leading the way back to the lighthouse as best he could.

Steve picked up the ball from the ground, and walked back to turn in the remaining Safari Pokeballs. As he is handing them in, he receives another text from Jeremy.
"What? They are going in now!? Without me!? Excuse me, but I am a little lost. Which way to get to the lighthouse?"
Steve hurries up in tying a message back.
'I wll be rigt on my way theer. Wait for m!'

Well after some gets direction, you all arrive at the Lighthouse. You notice some Infinitus Goons guarding the lighthouse now. Most likely more will be along later, and these were the ones they could get on short notice.

Steve glances over to Jeremy, then back to the goons. He wonders what his choice of pokemon should be for the battle that is likely ahead.

Jeremy shook his head rapidly. “Nuh-uh, just the bad man and some black circle Pokemon.” He was uncasing Harriet again, putting in a fresh tape and checking the focus—making sure she was ready to film. Cubone was watching from his feet; Aduro had decided that two strange humans was one human too many and was hiding in her Pokeball.

Thor had fallen half asleep during the battle with the thug and did nothing but watch. Then it struck him! That girl right now, she had picked up the ball that the demon bear had been in!
"WHAT KIND OF A WOMAN ARE YOU?! Are you some kind of witch, warlock or devil worshipper or maybe even a devil?!" Thor shouted as he got out a INSANILY huge cross which he intended to hit the woman with.
"DIE VERMIN!" Thor started his charge "HOLY CRUSIFICTION DOWNSTRIKE!" he shouted as he swinged the cross side ways.
"I really do hope she does not know that it's just plastic baloon." Thor thought.

“Minsfeld?!!” Jeremy exclaimed. “The lady who beat ten Rockets at once with a single Pokemon? ((Hope it’s okay for me to make up exploits. If not let me know and I’ll change it.))” He got a puzzled look as something occurred to him. “Wait, is she the lady you talked about earlier? Who got her Pokemon stolen by that Melvin guy?” His eyes went wide as something else occurred. “Wait, wait, wait, is this that guy then?”

Derek looked at his pokeball... he had only one pokemon and at that the pokemon had little experience in battle.

Steve was far from any surety of what this situation would bring, and didn't know if this is the action he should even be taking. Though, it was about to be done anyway.
"Here we go..."
Steve stepped closer to the Infinitus grunts. He was hesitant with each step.
"Alright....Run away, and....Well, you will not be humiliated."

They laugh. "Beat it kid, you don't want to go up against us. Go cry home to momma before you get hurt." Their hands reach for their pokeballs. Each throw out two pokemon. One throws out a lotad and Rotom (! A rare pokemon for goons to have!). The other tosses out a Combee and a Cranidos. Obviously they have come prepared, some of these pokemon are hard to get.

The pokedex beeped, Yari tok it out of her pocket and schemed over the screen. It was now somewhat functional for some strange reason. It did not name the demon bear, but it gave away its moveset and about power:
"Identified as Demon Bear, real information of actual name or anything else is lacking in Global Pokemon Lab Database. Information based directly on scanning, information may be insufficient or wrong due scanning modifiers lacking. Knows following moves: Smokescreen, Hypnosis, Ember, Water Gun, Scratch, Growl. Appears to emit steam when stresses a tiny bit, which causes a natural effect similar to that of a sand-attack or a smokescreen. Name insufficient name, please nickname it."
She heard the geezer mutter something at the same time, but did not look up before she had getting done with the pokedex and got it to accept the nickname "Bearzy".
She looked up, the geezer was holding a gigantic cross which looked like it weighted enough to crush her and her skull and more to that. The question was if it was real, since he had dragged out several tons of equipment from his backpack thingy already(which made it possible the thing had a weight of tons). There evidence supported that it was real and heavy, the fear quaked in.
Started to swing it horizontal, Yari moved backwards in a clumsy way which ended up she stumbled backwards and faltered(OOC: She FELL backwards, in case i used the wrong words for it). The cross moved like an hammer and missed.

Jeremy nodded, gulping; he trailed a few paces behind Steve, looking through Harriet’s eye piece as he filmed. The hands holding the camcorder were tense and pale.
Cubone strode out to face the goons’ Pokemon and swung up her club into an attack position. Then she paused.
(Jeremy a little help would be nice.)
“Uh, okay…” He fumbled for the Pokeballs of the rest of his Pokemon. “Which one should I send out?”
(I don’t know, just pick one!)
“Umm…” Jeremy hesitated and picked one at random. Ponyta appeared on the field, mane and tail burning blue. “Use, um, Ember? Please? And Cubone use—umm—”
(Already on it,) Cubone interrupted, and swung her club at the Cranidos—the only Pokemon on the field that wasn’t either obviously capable of sailing right over her club or a Water type.
((Bone Club on Cranidos, Ember on anything but Cranidos.))

Steve grabs two of his newer pokeballs, and tosses them out. Bellsprout appears first, and then Elekid. Suddenly, Steve realizes he doesn't know what attacks they have. He quickly takes out his dex to scan them, and see.
"Okay. I think that vine whip attack would be great. Do so on that..." Steve scans the Rotom to figure out what it is called, "Rotom. That low kick seems a little cool. Do that to the..." Again, Steve has to scan for the name. "Cranidos."

Seeing the Ponyta one grunt grins. "Guess they don't know about Egg moves yet. Lotad..water gun on the Ponyta!. Rotom, confuse ray on the Baltoy."
The other nods "Good strategy. We have to hold them off until the Void Pokemon arrive." That didn't sound promising. "Gust on Bellsprout Combee. Cranidos, take down on the Elekid."
Ponyta uses Ember on Combee. (83)
It is super effective, Combee takes 28 points of damage
Elekid uses Low Kick on Cranidos (46)
It is super Effective, Cranidos takes 26 points of damage
Rotom uses Confuse Ray on Baltoy
Baltoy is confused.
Combee uses Gust on Bellsprout (29)
It is super effective, Bellsprout takes 17 points of damage
Baltoy uses Confusion on Cranidos (37)
