Could this be one of the first steps to 'cheap' virtual reality? VR has been around a LONG time. I played my first VR game in 1995. It is very expensive however, and not ready for mass marketing. Yet. This could be the first step to making it affordable to everybody.

I haven't really been able to follow this thread and, oddly enough mytical, I latched on to your post as the one thing that made sense in it. What and how exactly did you play? Could you describe it?
I thought VR was what the wii remote swinging stuff was pointing towards.
Plenty of good sci-fi stories with VR? Killzone was it? or Killobyte I think that was the title heh.
