I introduce The Wide Movement to HC
First thing: I request feed back no matter what you think of this movement.
Second: I have recently introduced an entirely new appearance of my youtube channel to compliment ideas concerning the wide movement.
What is the wide movement?
The wide movement is actually a radical concept that encourages anyone to participate in bettering the world with at least baby steps. The most important thing is that no one must take any stem they feel is not right in their opinion. If someone preaches about something they say should be done, it is up to participants whether or not they will contribute.
There can be things proposed to participants to entertain like
shut off unused electricity
Conserve a bit of water
Buy from farms that respect animals
Do something nice for someone not expecting anything in return
Do something positive for yourself like take care of that sink full of dishes.
Help a charity
Recycle
Etc..
Out of this basic list people can take what they want, and leave the rest. No one is forced to take any steps they are not comfortable with. At the same time, even if people are not comfortable with much, if enough people turned the water down a couple of notches, over the course of a year we have made a significant difference.
I encourage everyone to review the content of these videos (at least the first one) I encourage everyone to get involved by either becoming a participant or asking others to check it out.
This is the only online forum I participate in that I will make a thread discussion about TWM.
Discuss here whatever you are feeling please and thank you.

well thanks maybe my next video will be talking about how to become a pioneer.
How it works and how to start are really simple.

Well, the movement works atleast in contrast to others. That i can say.
Instead of saying you cannot do anything, atleast bother to attempt to do something within your power and reach.

I think I encourage people to do what they can and feel comfortable with.
even if everyone involved only made tiny steps it would make a difference.

I think people already tried to make this, but still, I love ideas like these. 
I'll make sure to participate. Some more dynamic videos would kick arse though.

It's a good idea, the hard thing is to motivate people, and it's baicly just saying that if every one was "better" every thing would be better. But, yeah! I've been working like this for years. The idea isn't really new, but all attention to the matter is good attention!

What it does is unites those who already take positive steps. It encourages any amount more that they feel okay with doing. It also encourages people who dont think about the world around them to from time to time take a look at their potential to join with everyone else who are trying to make a difference.
It shows us who do something good, that we belong to something whether we know it or not. For me, if I felt turning the water down 2 notches was my action alone, I would feel somewhat insignificant compared to: If I felt that it was the action I contributed as part of a massive group, then I would feel we are actually being helpful.

lol there are so many ways to help, if you dont want to be nice to xerox or anything then the main rule of the movement should comfort you with the fact that you make the decisions on what input you give.

thanks, the potential is great, the outcome is unpredictable.
There are many many vids I can make about this and I am having a bit of trouble deciding which way to go next.
Maybe someone here can give me a suggestion.
here are some options
1: Examples on what many people would consider input to the movement (i would say again here that it's up to the participant to decide what parts of this vid to use)
2: re describe the wide movement in a way that is easier to see.
3: what we can do to get the movement a good start.
4: the array of ways things can turn out in the near and far future.
5: the value of a positive can go a long way.
etc.. any ideas?
