B-E-T-A apparently couldn't hold his end of the bargain... Let's start the judging, then. Wait a moment, I'll get the criteria of last time.
To quote mytical
Quote: Creativity (originality)
Playability
Entertainment value
How easy to start up.
How easy to get a new person involved/wrote in.
Bonus (Each judges own criteria)
Each should be a 0-10 value. Total of 60 points available.
Will email the two judges with this
These should be guidelines more like, because I think creativity is vastly overrated for RPG's here, but I'll settle for it anyway... In fact, one of the best ones I had were entirely not original. Anyway, let the scoring begin.

Okay, I hope it will be good as I was far from completing the nescessary stuff like class decriptions etc
If I did everything I planned then it might have been easily 3 posts though, and that would be a bit long.

So anyway, I decided the categories we'll judge this thing with.
Anyone we'll judge from an arbitrary number of criteria, each criteria can earn a maximum of ten points, except the originality criteria, because I believe that although it may add value, a complete lack of creativity isn't a breaker of the game, unlike the other criteria can be. This year, because of the extremelysmall amount of players I reduce playability to five points as well to suit a player and give him a fair chance. The criteria will be pretty similar to thos eof last year.
Creativity (originality)
Playability (can it be played in the glade?)
Entertainment value
How easy to start up
How easy to get a new person involved/wrote in
Bonus (a criteria of ten points on which the judges can award or penalise anything not included in above categories)
Alright, my judging will be done tonight. I'll contact omega...
I've been putting this off for far too long, but w/e, let's do this.
EDIT:
STORY and ATMOSPHERE will be the new criteria of this year and I can't believe they were notincluded last year

hmmm...
I'll reduce that to five points and I'll see whether the mechanics can be translated into text-based rpg's. Normally it should be possible.

Xerox' entry
Lemme start with my bonus criteria:
Every time I see a sentence that hurts my eyes because it's horrible english grammatically or stylistically (or if there are more than two small grammatical mistakes) you lose a point. It's just bad presentation.
Bonus criteria: 6.5/10
The start was pretty gruesome with some sentences that don't make sense or places with three spelling errors and such. near the ending it's getting better...
or my concentration was just faltering
Creativity: 2/5
I keep having this creepy feeling it's both wow- and fable-inspired, not to say it's based on a pre-existing game. Of course the thing that set me off most is that it's another "demons eat world"-story. I have nothing against classic good vs evil-stories, but it's not very creative, since it's pretty much a reiteration of the HOMM-story, but with characters we don't know.
Playability: 3/5
character creation is sound, combat seems okay, and there are interesting to both use the stats-system and not show it in the glade at the same time. the story is ratehr strange, though. It passes, but just barely.
Entertainment value: 7/10
As some other rpg's pointed out: a straightforward story can last for a long time. There's also a wide variety of characters which could make it last for awhile. It doesn't have a lot of extras to offer though.
How easy to start up: 7/10
Again, pretty average, since the story is pretty standard, so easy to get into, the character creation is pretty standard, but the mechanics implementations could take a bit longer.
How easy to get someone involved: 8/10
remarkably easy, since the story would stay stationary for a loong time.
Atmosphere: 7.5/10
Another strong point of this was that it started with this overall feel that this was like a last resistance-thing. I imagined guerilla-like factions and demonic crusades to purge out humanity and though these things could be included, they didn't...
It turned out to be a classic struggle of good stationary force versus evil stationary force. The fact you were trying to create an MMO should be no excuse for the lack of dynamics. I still award you a pretty high score because the feel of the story was pretty promosong. I know this is horribly subjective, but w/e let's move on.
Story: 4.5/10 (see me after class)
You can see he plays wow the way he continues the lore. And the lore isn't entirely respected of HOMMV (though there's nothing inherently sacred about that monster). Arantir died? How? Necromancers try to take over the slver cities through politics? huh?
And of course you didn't finish the story you were trying to make
Mytical's entry who understood that brevity is the soul of good writing sometimes.
Bonus criteria: 8/10
Pretty sound, save for the spelling error and additional comma that shouldn't belong, but overall nothing that really bothered me.
Creativity: 5/5
Never encountered before
Playability: 4/5
Tailor-made for the glade, though combat maybe should be a bit more detailed.
Entertainment value: 6/10
The problem with roleplays that are open-world is that it invokes a sense of no purpose or too many possibilities in the player. It may be entertaining, but it's staying value is lesser than that of xerox. How much it pains me to say so. Though the multitude of races and the classes make up for it.
How easy to start up: 6.5/10
The story is pretty basic and the options are pretty easy. it doesn't really have a 'hook', though.
How easy to get someone involved: 8/10
Pretty basic. there isn't much that facilitates involvement as the story inevitaby progresses, but there's alo nothing that impedes it.
Story: 6/10
The story is pretty interesting with an angle that is pretty new to me as the gods in this act a lot more directly than others. Though, it isn't really very developped. how do the races govern themselves? through their gods? It passes, but it's a bit lacking.
Atmosphere: 6.5/10
Didn't really invoke much in me, except a bit of a fantastic storyline though these gods and a taste of sci-fi with that 'visitor'-element. I guess the atmosphere would mostly come through the opening IC-post and I think it's something i'll have to keep in mind for next year.

Yeah, but you get to destroy the world if you want to too
In most games there is one single happy ending. The evil end here is that Urgash is released and rebirths the Universe in chaos, as it was in the begining.
Quote: Arantir died? How? Necromancers try to take over the slver cities through politics? huh?
Arantirs dies in Dark Messiah. But he gets ressurected as a Lich later in the story. Probably after you recapture Talonguard from the Death's Hand Cult.
The Necromancers are infilitrating the Silver Cities and destroying them from within. Zehir might be raised as a Zombie

I'm gonna put my awesome one in too!
Game Name: Kingdom Krunch and the Slobbitty Goo!
World: Kingdom Krunch of course!
Races: Slobbit, Krunchie, or Flapper-Jack
Slobbits are the epitome of Kingdom Krunch Evilness. They do bad stuff like steal candy and make castles kersplode into a mountain! They are short, stout, and very bad-tempered! They belong to the Goolahg Land, a frosty, cold, and tropical island located in the middle of the Dirt Ocean.
Krunchies are the normal inhabitants of Kingdom Krunch. They are about a big as Slobbits, but better mannered and are usually virtuous and honoir-bound to King Krunch, son of the famed Captain Crunch. Kingdom Krunch is a normal temperate place with lots of forests, desserts, and delicious pastries.
Flapper-Jacks are rare super powered beings that live in the 9-dimensional world of Flapjack, or at least one of them...Anyways! Flapper-Jacks occasionally enter Kingdom Krunch, but they are too proud and arrogant to rid the Krunchies of the Slobbits of Goolahg. No one ones what Flapper-Jacks really look like since they usually take on the form of other beings.
Story:
Holy Monkey doodles! Evil Slobbit Lord Balilililila Wickitylly Clark (BWC) has ordered an invasion of Kingdom Krunch! What will we do? BWC has already captured Kingdom Krunch Princess Nectarine! Lopez, the robotic plumber and engineer has been sent to save her (by Sarge)! However, the Flapper-Jack Lord, Jack, is trying to kersplode everything in sight to rid himself of everything! Blah!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, you do whatever the hell you want! No one cares! As for the combat system, you throw baseballs made of cement at each other! And that's it. Also cheese is involved...lots of cheese...
No classes, you be whatever you wanna be! Heck, you can even become a Lazerman!
____________
Skyrim RP? YES!
Here it is!
