Pedophilia is imho when someone is attracted to and engages in sexual intercourse with a kid that is completely unaware and doesn't want it at all. Like a 5yo kid or something, lol. That's pretty horrible and disgusting.
Ephebophilia or whatever the translation is (my dictionary failed me) would be a better word: it's an attraction towards people not yet fully adult, but already sexually aware and willing.

I have to slightly disagree, Doomforge. A kid is unaware, so he does not know the consequences of a sexual act. An adult can easily bring a kid into a painful experience, taking it as a game. The kid will follow, but it will have terrible consequences later. The recent laws are fixing this.

well, that's what I said too.  As long as the kid is unaware and unwilling, it's pedophilia, no matter whether the adult makes it a "game" or downright rapes the kid.

Need nuance: as long as the kid is considered unaware mentally it should be considered pedophilia. Most of the pedophiles, specially the parents of the kid will reply that he was consenting, and he was.
This is the flaw.

Yes. There is a problem with the awareness part though. I recall myself being sexually aware when I was 6 or so. (yeah call me weird.. ). I fantasized about 30yo women a lot when I was 8 or 9 would that be pedophilia is a 30yo woman with a weird taste tried to seduce me back then? I mean, I think I would do it willingly and with full awareness, despite being just a kid.
Hard to say really. It would most likely still be pedophilia (come on, 9 years old? We're not in Yemen ) but with full awareness and willingness... what do you think?

Everyone normally constituted is curious about sex in early age. This is a normal curiosity and will involve later. I guess your 9 years old phantasm had nothing to do with the phantasm of a 60 years old looking for babies.

Well anyway. The problem with 15yo girls is that they are... well... young. That almost automatically spells "immature".
If you're not after just sex, I really recommend looking for older ones

Up until the last hundred years, the Japanese didn't think of pedophilia as a sickness. They just thought of it as "expensive tastes". Many of them still carry on this ancient tradition. They just have to go to Thailand to do it, where there are hardly any sex laws and children are cheap enough to buy.
Have an opinion about that?

People from the world over (especially from North America and Europe) go to the war ravaged Southeast Asian countries in general to engage in sexual actions with children. It's pretty despicable.
Also the Ancient Greeks also had such tastes.
It's really a serious mental illness IMHO.
