Wait, now Berny's character is a god? <---is confused.
Utopians are 'supposed' to be the beings behind the legands of Angels. Only 'god' is supposed to be stronger/etc. I did give em a little twist with the technology (think Cybermages), but the reason they are so hard to find and have limited connection to the rest of the universe is this very fact.
Rutopians are the 'demons'.
And berny's character is now supposed to surpass them? Well that would mean that he is one of two beings. What is known as 'God' or what is known as 'Satan'. So..what exactly type of missions or quests would even be worth them going on? <----is confused.

Also It would be a good thing to dump the descriptions of Utopians/Rutopians and Subterrans into the master post of the OOC.

Well as I said, the Utopians and Rutopians were not going to be very prominant figures in anything. Mostly used as 'plot hole' plugging and "Ex Machina" if things got too hairy (to further the plot if characters get stuck, etc).

Actually, my character is now weaker than before. Before he used the actual artifacts of Enigma, who you can decide is (for all I care, he can just be an ice cream man). As for his gear, they aren't indestructible, just a lil' bit tougher than the normal stuff people use. I actually did this to make my guy weaker, and he is now. He can no longer summon black holes, become invisible, or drain souls. As for teleporting, he still has that, but is much weaker than before, and now he follows a more disciplined code of honor, limiting the amount of random things he can do.
And no, he is not a god, and before Geist was able to become almost as powerful as a Utopian if he possessed all of Enigma's armor, and constantly fed upon the souls of others. However, that would take thousands of years, and even so, couldn't use any of his powers, because that feeds upon his soul capacity. Now he is much weaker, but is more disciplined. Remember, this is an act to make my character less imba, even though most of you could clearly defeat me, especially Baal's character, who could freeze me, which, as exemplified beforehand, left me incapacitated.

Ah that clarifys things, thanks. Just read the post wrong (my bad). Actually I have a thought about Enigma (with your ok). A neutral force has to go with the positive and negative forces. Enigma can be the 'neutral' force. Sorry for any confusion. It is also not about being stronger then each other. In a showdown, it should be luck of the draw. Nobody with an obvious upper hand, nobody at an obvious disadvantage. Well besides the twins..lol they are at a bit of disadvantage only being able to teleport  .
A suprise shot (like the Ice that the character was not prepared for) is one thing. Prepaired and ready your character as before had a vast edge on the others. I had asked Jorn to tone down his character just because of that. Still, I do enjoy your story and posts  . Just a bit confused sometimes.

Looking forward to learning about the new abilities. Berny please don't take our comments badly. We never even meant for you to feel you had to change the character. We might have felt he was a little powerful, but that is opinion. You know what they say about Opinions .

Sir_Dragon, B-E-T-A, and Alkar..think I am a bit lost on where you are and what you are doing....somebody help? If you are in or headed to the base let me know here or HCM so I can get you in the action. Others..please don't destroy everything (yet) until we know what they are doing.

Well, about Enigma, yeah, he could be a neutral force, and yeah, Enigma's Hand (Geist) will have some new abilities, but won't nearly be as powerful as the previous Geist.

Alright. I am feeling better now. Had for the last few days, but most of the weekend, and Monday, I'm too involved with other things to post. Anyway, I think I'll take a look at this tonight, and see what's been happening. Looks like it has been a lot.

Seriously, I'm not sure I want to start my progress into the situation that is currently present. Get trapped in this black hole thing, unless I force my character to find you lot, so I can be saved? No thanks. As a player, I'd rather blow the whole base to bits, and help rebuild a replacement base at some other location.
Well, I'll sit this one out, and see about joining back in afterwards.
