Unique Flags depending on faction and color!
I was getting tired of seeing every haven faction run around with a griffin on their flags, so I came up with an idea- why not give them all an unique look?
Current status:
This is what I have planned/done so far:
Haven
Red- Lion (done)
Blue- Classic Heroes 3 Griffin (done)
Green- Wolf (done)
Yellow- Eagle (done)
Orange- Crosses (done)
Light Blue- Unchanged
Purple- Fleur de lis (done)
Brown- Bull (done)
Download!
Sylvan
Red- ?
Blue- Moon?
Green- Unchanged (celtic knots)
Yellow- ?
Orange- Autumn leaf?
Light Blue- Unicorn
Purple- ?
Brown- ?
Any ideas and/or suggestions are very much welcome!

Very nice idea, but wouldn't it be more logical if the flag animals would be the animals of the different lands the Griffin Empire has ?
From my mind, I know that there is a bull duchy and a falcon county. (It was mentioned in the campaigns and in the heroes biographies)

Thanks for the replies! I was thinking of giving the haven factions symbols from the duchies and counties, but changed my mind since some animals are also associated with other factions, and I really wanted to make the old heroes 3 flag and a lion one.
I am also working on reskinning a large number of NCF creatures, so I am sort of doing this as a side project, but hopefully I will get Haven done shortly.
So far, I have only done the wolf, lion and h3 griffin. The wolf and lion has been updated with minor tweaks since the screenshot.

Hey, I have an idea, why not two headed eagle for the purple flag? This was also the real history flag of the Eastern Roman Empire, I think it's going to match pretty well

Nebdar: I just gave the yellow haven an eagle, but I have been thinking of giving the purple faction a fleur de lis or a cross, as I want something more than just animals.
Orange and brown are not heraldric colors and will be a bit more difficult to make than the others because of this, but an orange animal on a black background might work, as well as the peasant banner idea, though any suggestions are welcome!
Upon release, I will also include an updated template from what I used, if you want to make your own flags!

Hm I think brown is also a heraldic color; think of the old Norway flag

Not sure which norwegian flag you are talking of, I looked it up but no luck. However, heraldric rules clearly state that those colors are not allowed, though I will try to make an exception when doing this, who knows, maybe the brown is discolored red and the orange discolored yellow?
As El_Chita requested, I have tested with a bull, and while it looks kind of neat for any warrior noble or bandit lord, it might look like it would fit dungeon better.
Your thoughts?

Neocat: Actually, that means the red is supposed to be red, but brown for convenience in some cases, this is common and not something related to the rules at all- I doubt the Heraldry Police would come and take down your coat of arms if it was engraved into stone above your castle gate, and never painted.
beidiwang: What is this I don't even
The project is actually on hold as I am waiting for someone to comment on the bull, I want the brown flag finished before I do the next.

Maybe try a brown background with a yellow dragon/ eagle?

I might make those instead, I just need a good idea of what duchy to use for what color (there are multiple red, for example).
And I would be forever grateful if someone could find better images to copy the designs from, if available. I do not want them to be overly complex in-game as they should be simplified and easy to distinguish.
