I think system need to be improved but not same way what you suggest. Maybe you can get extra points from win tournament like 150-100-50 and add to your main points but its all. You cant remove points from standard game because they are much more and give better picture for skills any one.
About Arena I'm not comment for not piss TawerLord but its really don't have any with real heroes. For tournaments like it you cant get any points.
I'm play standard maps and rmg maps. If i start play much again i have better chance to pass Infinitus and Natalka, because one play only RMG other only Standard maps. I can play with both them but they cant. So your argument is correct about ppl need to can play all but this don't mean they need to be forced if don't want.
Don't Leave ToH games with you are much interest !

I never said that I want to remove points from normal game. Iīm trying to help TOH, not to create my TOH. Iīm saing that somehow should be tournaments and clans connect with points, with table.
And still I think that idea about three tables (Multi - Duel - Clan) and one main table(Multi+Duel+Clan) is great idea and in our league it really works nicely(except clans - we donīt have). Increasing motivation. With it is connect - I donīt want to force anyone. Iīm saying that I think that the best HEROES player should know everything. For example Natalka - great multi player and duelist too = great player for me. But if someone - for example Infi have fun only with random maps ok np, he can click on multi table and he will be first, it should be his ,,byznys", interest. So it should be perfect for him. Thatīs my opinion.
And Jinxer do finally something with Caesar!!! Itīs terrible, that you as admin do nothing for solve it
About Arena donīt know, I never played it. But duel, specially duel map is good thing - you can see here, who know Heroes and who know how to fight in battles. What is important to do in battle... And clans? Perfect again.

Well first of all.. Dont try and Blame me for Ceasars not being finished lol... And 2nd, yes I have admin privleges... but this is not my league or tournament or site. I cant just take charge and start making rulings and decisions. If Ves steps in and says... I hear by grant Jinxer the power to be the final decision maker then I will then set some standards for the 2 players and make them follow them...
Or as I said if BOTH players agree to it.. then I can become that arbitor/decision maker then also..
And honestly if Both claim they want an end to this.. then they both should agree to me being arbitor.

I'm not defend Ves but he is in ToH from very long and i'm sured he is hell tired from all atm. This Ceasars final is huge shame if we take it serious ...but atm none get it serious more 
To me what is most important and can help from not down activity every season: is improve point system. Fun come with points. Some one can say its not true but every one love to get more points and hate when loss them. For this high ranked players don't play with low rank because they can loss much hard gained points. From other side every new player want to try game vs "best" and when they cant get game its suck. This can be fix very easy with Change system and over 350 points range gains/loss for both sides to be like 5 points per game. No one from high rank will go farm points from newbies, but ever if he did it, its not bad, because he help for attract new ppl and play in ToH.
Clans are very good idea because TEAM spirit can motivate ppl much. Season 1 my clan have regular beer meets and we commented all games. This was one from most fun part from clan games for me.
Duel/Arena can have table but they cant be part from chart. Its different game. Another problem is Ves need to pay some one for update ToH page. Its not simple change.
Back to Ceasars.: Strider need to be removed from final and Kispagat to get it. He deserve to be in this final.

Ye I can understand his position and mood. I had same situation in our league. But I didnīt know, that he must pay for update TOH page. Maybe it is stupid question, why?
I completely agree with you about points, point system. And in case - newbie vs experienced player - tournaments can help too. And no-one said that tournament must be on one map. Every round(in spider for example) can be another map. Maybe it will be more interesting.
Same I agree with you about Duel/Arena and clans. Table for Duel/maybe +Arenas will be great. I was very interested, when I saw Clan page first, itīs great thing. If there will be some ,,points bridge" between Clans and chart, it will be great and sure will be clans active again. Iīm sure, that I will between first who will enter and try to create clan Maybe even some veterans who ended will join too.
Yes Kispagat - Firedragon. Final of Caesar.
Maybe Ves can read this and join this discussion, will be great.

Believe me I visit the board, and answer emails every day or two days. But the fact is this: not enough active players to make any subtournaments work. You see that in these offshoot subtourneys. Even I have been distracted by 'superior' games like Kings' Bounty and Dragon Age.
Remember that ToH's main ranking IS the main Tournament -- As in achieving the highest points and gaining rank. Just look at the early homm2 ToH, it was just the main rankings only. It was still called a tournament. Of course, with less players active, the ToH ranking system gets somewhat stale after 6 months, and a reset is somewhat recommended.
The only real solution is a fresh one, as in Homm6, if they actually make it multiplayer-friendly for once. It hasn't been so since homm3. So I'm sort of banking on the next generation homm (or Kings' bounty going multiplayer lol)
Also --- Too many people stolen to the mmorpg and 'quick reaction' games.

And again remember all:
ToH is sort of a repository where you can 'store' your record -- playing and reporting your wins, losses, maps, history, opponents. It remains timeless and will continue to store your records since 1998. Damn, almost 11 years already.
Anyways, so if it may not be as competitive now because of less players, its no less a place just to report your game for your own reference & recordkeeping.
So far 3 gaming companies have taken the homm franchise and gone under while ToH has outlived them all. UBI's matching and recordkeeping of homm5 may not even exist 2 years from now -- ToH will.

The truth is that every game can bore after some time. My time spent playing homm1-5 probably equals time spent in all other comp games combined (or close to it at least) but theres a point when enough is enough. Homm5 is out for good couple years now and its hard to keep people playing it that long. Obviously u can count me in for another couple years probably when hommVI kicks in
