CLANS - applications and wishes
Hi guys
Here is space for everyone who is interested in CLAN playing. Main is the word - interesting. Nothing is decided.
So pls everyone who want to play CLANS - note here that you want to and note here what you want, what you expect from it etc. But no discuss here pls Everything else is in another topic - CLANS.

Well I suggest we not stray to far from the already established clans system.. It is a great system. I merely was suggesting some small adjustments to clan member requirement and maybe the scoring system. But the Basics of the clan system and the Philos should remain.

I might be interested. Here's some of my suggestions for the Clan games:
- Clear the Clan ranks/records, so we can begin from clean start.
- Begin by using +1p win/-1p loss for FreeChallenge and for Clan Wars +1p win/-2p loss when playing 1vs1 format.
And +1p win/-3p loss for 3vs3 format for both FreeChallenge and Clan Wars.
And to start a clan, one must be at least Squire (default) and have at least 2 (default) or 4 other members of same (Squire) or better ranking. Once a clan is founded, it can participate in either 1vs1 or 3vs3 FreeChallenge, but not Clan Wars without a proper number of played clan games from each clan member (for example: 10 FreeChallenge clan-games per each member, including the founder), but once that is reached (win or lose doesn't matter); the clan is considered 'active' and is therefore qualified for a Clan Wars-game (may not join a season in progress, but the next starting season).
Most of the other things should remain same. That's it for now.

I have idea for clan wars.
Clan war (in my feelings) should be based on cooperative.
Each clan have 3 players. clan A vs clan B = 9 matches (everyone with everyone). We are playing on Toh Duel map (after special edited) and using strikeout generator (after used this we know all pairs). Each clan have gold (for example 500k).
We have to choose how many gold we will use in every match.
For example:
1st match: A clan = 50k gold, B clan = 70k
2nd: A=40k, B= 30k
......
9th match: A=60k, B=65k.
What do you think?

Wait Wait Wait Slow down.. please remember.. I already posted this in my 2nd post.
OUR goal here is NOT to totally recontruct clans. Clans is already an established tournament. Its foundation is already here and sound.

The only issues we really need to discuss is what New requirements will there be for forming a clan so we can insure that the newbie players have a chance to get established and are picked for clan teams.
And possibly a small change to the scoring system... Those are really the only 2 issues we need to iron out.
The rest is already spelled out in the link I provided. If you look at the rankings page at the bottom you will see clan wars page.. That will show you how the clan wars format is.
@ Mysterious -- The format you suggested of Squire+ for all members is already how the current clans is run. And that is what didnt work. The previous clans died because we ended up with only about 4 dominate clans and the rest newbie clans that couldnt compete so they just gave up.
So that is why I suggested a format of this:
1st COMMANDER - Legionairre+
2nd ClanMate - Squire/Baron
3rd ClanMate - Squire/Baron
*** Previous Season Ranks apply......
This format would ensure that each team has lower ranked newer players so all the clans are more evening matched, and more likely to have a much deeper competition instead of 1 Dominate bully clan running away with it cause they can beat up on the newbies all day long.
** EDIT - Another thing.. all maps played will ofcourse follow the basic TOH Rule that involves using Regular Maps posted on TOH page. Duel Maps are not real maps and not permitted in Standard tournaments.

Sorry Upon further thought and discussions with others.. its obvious this is doomed from the start.
Vesuvius is right. Just need ALOT of numbers for this to work the way some of you want it to work.
So I am not gonna waste any more time trying to revive a something that is dead for a reason. Wont be long this thread will drift off into the forgotten threads anyways.
Lets Hope Heroes 6 will bring new life.

Pls Polish guys, contact people in your league and ask if they want to make a clan. If there are 3 friends fe - lets make clan and join us Same for Infi on UBi or in Russia

For a successful clan season, you need at MINIMUM 30 continuously active members dedicated for 1-2 years. Without that, forget it. And right now its impossible to get a quarter of that.

Ok, that is quite weird, but you did not make a mistake when you added Maniak (yes with an A) to the interested players. I am the original one even if I am the newbie in h5.
