K so I'm coming along with my learning how to ERM. But the learning curve is still there. lol. I made an artifact that increases movements, and so far I have it working, except it only boosts the heroe's movement when the artifact is equipped.
Now I can figure out that it's the "AE" lines that dictate that the bonus is given only when the artifact is mounted and removed, but how can I change it so that it works like the boots of speed so that the bonus arrives at the beginning of the day? Will I need a timer thing like TM?

This kind of artefact is dead end, I would not use it this way. Imagine that your hero spends all his movement points, equips the artefact, gets 10k more. He spends them, unequips and equips again. He will never stop.
Use a timer who checks who has this artefact on. Give 10k points once, every day (if equipped). Remove all !?AE checks.

Ok I wasn't sure with the timers, but from what I got by Knollkings' example I strung together this. No surprise that this code is crashing what i have lol, but what am I still missing?

oh wow, so that code just sends me on a never ending loop playing a game before the scenario begins. Was this accidental or a cheap shot at my ignorance for erm knowledge? lol

Should not, there is no red player in your map? Change it to an existing player color then.

I read on pg 4 of this link, that if you have it at 255 it will apply to all the players correct?

the same thing occurs. Before the scenario begins, it prompts me to play a game called: Claim your stake.
Is there anther method go about the same way? the approach i had before was ok except for the unlimited movements. Can I not put the timer with that code?

When it asks me, I prompt it yes. I have other codes working together though. several for artifacts, one for creatures, and one for a hero.

So you wogify and keep my example script where FU1 and timer 1 are used... they are used in many things if wogified, so they overlap. Change.

If I may make one request, since this comes so natural to you Salamandre, can I impose on the answers of just 2 more questions on the codes, and if you can write them? I can't find answers to them in any other postings and it's hard to narrow the search parameters this erm stuff is addicting lol I promise I won't have any more questions for a while after
1) I want to make an artifact like the shield of retribution, but add unlimited retaliations and retaliations among creatures that don't get retaliated on.
2) The last artifact I want to adopt the properties of the elixir of life, but add 50% health, along with complete regeneration.
BTW I just saw your "300" map, and let's just say compared to my map that I'm building, you make mine look like a chess board lol!!

I will wholeheartedly help you to get those artefacts, once you post the scripts you made about. Maybe one day someone will create a thread "gimme script" but right now is "introduction to modding" or "ERM help".
