Kane heard shouting, hurried to get to wherever it was. Great, someone has found him! he burst through a door, tearing it off its hinges, and saw Carrie deflect a volley of flames.

Xion had been walking in a random direction which none of the other guests had taken at the time when he saw on his map that one person had stopped at the enterance and the teenager seems to have stopped somewhere near the basement. She was moving in a way that made it seem like she was fighting "Seems like the teenagers found something." Xion said happily before finding out the quickest route from where he was standing to where she was. Once it was figured out he started walking towards the place.
"I doubt she will let the guy get away that easily. And knowning Inferno's stubborness I doubt he will die so easily that I won't be there in time to save his sorry butt." Xion grinned as he started whistling the tune of "what a wonderful world"

"Yes, it does! Only weaklings find comfort in weaklings!" she shouted. she chased him through the hallway of the furthest alleyway. She was furious and could have killed him right then and there. She turned round a corner and bumped into a box. she was losing focus and awareness and now her sword was stuck in the wooden crate! She tried to wrestle it free. "I'll kill him! I'll rip his limbs off!" she shouted.

The man in the hat was leaning back and looking at several screens showing direct camera-feed. He looked at Rex with a smile and said "Come ta watch the show, mate?" His accent was thick and australian, too thick actually and Rex suspected it was fake. Still it would be usefull to call him Aussie in his mind for now.
"Something like that, I'm not much use in this little foxhunt. Seeing as how I would need to cause severe property damage to actually kill Inferno."
Rex went to stand behind the aussie and looked at the screen. "I don't suppose it will count if he accidentally walked into my Mech and gets shot up by the security measures, would it?"

Xion stopped as he saw Carrie and the other guy at the door meet, right before Carrie ran off somewhere else all together.
"Whoa!" Xion exclaimed in amusment "He escaped that easily? This is gonna be more fun than I originally assumed." Xion laughed and chose a new random direction to go in.

Being faster than Carrie, and more aware of the enviroment Kane made sure to pick a safe route. He didn't use his daggers just yet, missing would mean he had to rely on his ninjata. He dodged a volley of flames by using the wall as a springboard to get over it, and tackled him hard so they both went down and laid sprawled, both fighting to get up.

"Dunno, don't care, and I don't think Zero will either." replied the Aussie.
Inferno encased himself in flames so that Kane would have to back off. He then sent a wave of flame and hot air to blast him back. Inferno then ran and turned around a corner and found himself in the kitchen, where Geoffrey and the other servants were.
"Get out of my way!" yelled Inferno as he cleared a path out of the kitchen into the dining hall.

Twice, the wife flinched, even with her arms broken and her foot sliced open, she couldn't bear to see her child in pain. Thrice, the boy screamed for her sister, but to no avail.
"Ok, Ok, it's in my office, next to the telephone, it's for ease of access, now please, stop hitting my daughter!"
"Well done, Commodore," Palmer threw a mocking salute. He knew the commodore couldn't see it, but he felt good about it. walking over to the office, he saw that it was indeed there. "Congratulations Commodore, you gave the right answer. but you were a bad boy, and you lied to me. just for that, you're daughters going to experience being a snow instead of just dressing like one!" Cries and pleads from the Commodore and his wife against this, offerings, threats, pleadings, crying, screaming, pain, love. Palmer casually ignored them all, only one thing mattered, and that was fear.
"But first, theres a little matter of one more nail." he calmly walked over to the commodore, picked up the nail, and brought back the hammer.

Kane were up, his wounds healing. Only minor burns. He had his daggers out again and raced as fast as his legs could possibly carry him, not caring to ask servants to get out of the way and simply ran them down. Feeling his blood pumping he were starting to catch up with Inferno again. Then he hurled one knife with all the force he could muster, straight toward Infernos back.

Inferno was nearing the door when the knife was hurled at his back. Then all of the sudden, Sidewinder came out and caught the knife in mid-air. He threw it out of the building and turned towards Kane.
"Come on. Why don't you pick on someone you own size?"

Kane laughed. "Hell yeah! I was hoping to fight you!" his ninjata were out, and swung it in a fast motion against Sidewinders knees while his free hand let out a whipping blow across his jaw, getting him off balance.

"Oh, well that would've been too easy anyway." It would have been too easy and Rex had more important things to worry about. If this was indeed one of Zero's flunkies he was rather a security hazzard and it was worth exploring what he knew. On the other hand it might be Zero himself, pretending to be his own flunkie. Or it might even be one of his droids. Either way it was time to test what answer he got.
"So what do you know about tonight, cause everything's a little vague to me. Dinner, robots, Hero-hunts. This normal in Zero's household? And to be honest I haven't got a clue why I'm here."

Sidewinder flipped backwards as he was hit, but instantly raising his legs to avoid the ninjata. His legs then went up and hit Kane in the head, as Sidewinder landed safely on his feet.
"Try again." said Sidewinder with a smirk.
Meanwhile, in the security room.
Aussie let out a laugh and said, "I dunno! He gets bored a lot. I guess this is his way of entertaining himself."

"Oh I will." Kane brought out his dagger and cut against sidewinders stomach, while spinning around so that the ninjata would hit against the legs just after the dagger would have hit or missed. He knew Sidewinder had little chance of hurting him without any kind of weapon.

Sidewinder flipped over again between both blades and landed on the ninjata, then he sweep kicked Kane onto the floor and threw the ninjata out.
"Using blades against an unarmed man? You must be quite the lowlife."

"At least I don't use guns, eyh?" Kane buttoned down his shirt in one gliding motion and threw it away. "It's a nice shirt, don't wanna mess it up kicking your ass." he whipped again, but only to draw attention from a straight right toward Sidewinders Solar Plexus.

Either Zero was playing his role well, or this guy didn't know anything usefull. There was no computer in this room anyway, well none Rex could access. One last try.
"Do you know why I'm selected? I know Zero would not discuss things with his staff, perhaps for that Jeffry fellow, but there must be some rumours among the staff. If Zero is as good as he claims to be, he should know I'm not of much use to him. Well not inside a building we're supposed to leave standing."
