Stephano was a great player, there is no doubt. But without practice, even the Koreans can't make it far. So I can't imagine Stephano coming back? If he can he truly is amazing.

Neither I think so, but we don't know if he had played in the last days. Also, stephano was always known for not practicing a lot, not even for tournaments. And having Incontrol in his group is like a walkover xD

Edit: MaNa vs Zenio....the worst game I've seen in the whole 2013. Seriously, Zenio should retire, is an offense calling him professional player

So, we have DH Winter next week, oh god, I am excited. I think that DH Winter wasn't ever this stacked. So many top players and a lot of them were at the Blizzcon Tournament.
And finally, we have double elimination, looking at it, it really is great format, a breath of fresh air to say at least(it isn't really new format, but haven't seen it for a long long time).

Some of this groups are so stacked. Specially group C, Group of Death without a single doubt.
On some HSC games (Happy, maybe TaeJa too) I saw some tank play vs Zerg (and winning!), but I'm still far from convinced that it was the best play from the Zergies...too many Roach play, also Symbol threw so many games (twice on Frost :S). And yesterday in the Dailymotion Cup, MMA used only MMMM to defeat his zerg opponents (Scarlett and Check).
Although maybe it's still early to say, I'm under the impression that the new patch only made TvZ worse. The tank buff makes Roach Hydra play weaker while at the same time insufficient to beat muta bane play. And the mine nerf isn't enough to incentive Tank play. Also, the mine nerf benefits Terran in certain situations (less friendly fire).

Just as a general note is anyone interested in doing some training for some 2v2 tourney and then signing up for it really trying to win?
I'm like Plat/Diamond but I work really good in a team with some strategy. I've been thinking about doing some general mid game rushes with someone dedicate in the sense of the old 2 player 1 team maps.
One of us keeps the economy going and feeds the other player who upgrades and spams and micros units.

Dunno why I hoped for Mech play from Terran. It is a snooze-fest... There are only 30-40 minute games. And with little action.

Do you speak about ladder or tournaments?
Last year Mvp played a very interesting mech play, mainly involving early harassing with hellions and the pushing before broodlords. It was fun, but if the player decide to turtle for 20-30 minutes I can understand you get tired of it...

That kind of turtling is only justified in TvT and only if it turns to nuke wars in the end.

Currently watching TLO vs Goody at BCON clash tourney and it is second game and it is 30 minutes now for second game, first was 45 or something. And ok, it is about the player. But Goody has not attacked a single time on either game, and I don't like that.
