What do you think of the new maps? And the removals?
I think they should remove Alterzim Stronghold and either keep Heavy Rain or add Out Boxer.

They still don't remove crooked maw for 2vs2 ladder.
That snow SUCKS and needs to die.
3p map for 1vs1 ladder! HURRAH!
Waystation feels very broodwar, I doubt it will turn into good games in SC2.
Overgrowth will suck because of the ramps being connected by the destructible rocks.
I've never been a fan of KSstation but it does bring interesting games.
HURRAH FOR GETTING RID OF POLAR NIGHT!
Outboxer would have been nice but I kind of like having alterzim, one big map is good to have, get rid of frost instead, it's getting boring.

I didn't saw that rocks at first sight, I don't like them either.

Those interesting games probably come from the players more than the map, but hopefully it will still be a good map.

I do agree that Frost is way past its prime - pretty much like Whirlwind - but I don't agree with Alterzim. Alterzim is a huge map, not a big one, and I still don't see it bringing interesting games. Relies waaay too much on hidden bases, scouting and luck on early game.
In S3 they should get rid of both Frost and Alterzim and add a new big map.

The maps are ok I guess, but I disagree with removing Alterzim and Frost, I like both maps. Frost is awesome and we had a ton of great games there, while Alterzim is so big that openings and strategies are completely different on this map and we usually see something strange on it.
I would leave them be at least for few more months, or at least Frost.

Frost is going to be (with next season) 1 full year in the map pool. That's a lot.
All tournaments but Proleague and Shoutcraft are idiotically using the snowing same map pool, because of this the map pool needs to change a lot every season.
Edit: also, rush distances of new maps, Waystation is surely not an average map in this regard

RMZ1989  Frost is the best map in the map pool imho, so glad they kept it.
soO deserves the final more than Life (shaky), though Life is my favorite player probably..

For a second time in a row soO reaches the finals of the GSL, impressive if you ask me. Only Mvp achieved that before (in 2011!).
But I won't watch the finals. I've read in reddit that they are going to be casted at 7 a.m. CET, and neither player is fav of mine. On top (or bottom should I say) of that, they are going to play in the GOM tv eXP studio. What a letdown 
It will be the first GSL/OSL final I am going to miss since Sniper one, almost a year and a hafl :/
