I've started translation into English. Actually a friend of mine was supposed to do it (he's a pro) but he has no time right now so I decided that a bit ugly but understandable translation would be better than nothing. Or?

Then guys I need you to upload for me ArtEvent.txt and ArTraits.txt in english. The mod includes those however they contain text from the original game and I imagine what's going to happen to this text after a kind of 'reverse translating' (eng ----> rus --(lame me)--> eng). Not to speak of my time would be spent.

Even the crappiest translation would be fine as long as it's in English. Polishing the texts to perfection is no problem, once they're in the right language.

Thanks, Valery, it seems I have all the staff I need to begin. Now just give me a couple of days.
What about Hota... Seasons change, time passes by... I just want to say that Hota became a mystery for me and everybody who's out of their team long time ago. There are many discussions about it's fate through our forums and sometimes they're pretty dramatic. I don't say we need another coffin but for now you'd better turn your attention to mods which are smaller in size => with smaller problems. Anyway this topic is not the right place for another discussion.

Are there any volunteers concerning "polishing the translation"? I believe it's better to perform this part before publishing anything. I would provide you with translated version and explain any part of the translation (in other way) if something still needs to be explained. I'm going to finish it in the evening so give me a message in case..

Yep, I considered the list of new features to be longer that it appeared to be. Even though there is nothing revolutionary, all of them are pretty nice. Besides this version is called alpha for a reason I suppose. So it's surely worth our attention.

It's much easier to translate smth to your native language from another one. You just need to know your own language pretty well (this is not only about grammar, don't forget about stylistics) and intermediate level of foreign language. And never use translating machines, only dictionaries. That's how I work at least.
To make a translation to foreign language from native one you need to have a certain qualification. I don't have so I need somebody's help.
So you'd better start with foreign->native translation. And don't take a Valery's map. There is a chance you'll go crazy.
