I don't intend to join, too time consuming ... was just trying to lend a helping hand. Seems web proxies don't work that well, but if we find a proxy that can be set into Firefox or Internet Explorer from US or France or UK, I think things would work out.

What the ****
The proxy works perfectly, i click on play and it takes me to a page that says:
Please wait while the game preloads…
Skip preloading
and it never ends! even if i press on "skip" NOTHING!

*sigh*, i am sad to see that there are not many serious gamers around. I miss the times when people were dedicated to this game and played to have fun and learn.
Anyway, adrian you seem at least to want to learn, don't leave other decide for you though. If he is a good cousin, he will allow you to play.
back on topic, i still think i started playing and joined the toh alliance

no, i told you it happens. just try and try and try. that is how i got it. once i couldn't press on the start or anything, then i entered but was stuck in preloading, then it played but stuck, then i entered etc

In order to make it work, you must make the following settings in firefox:
I found a big list of possible proxies to be used, try the one that works fastest for you:
Proxy List --> FIXED LINK
You just have to change the IP & port in the image with some from the list... Test more of those and see which works best for you !

i am on the same server with vesuvius. you put the link wrongly, you need to actually open the link he gives in the opening post, copy the whooooooole thing (fast because it redirects you) and then paste it in the proxy (preferably the one i gave)

have you ever played games like travian etc?
it is like that. in short:
you build your city, you buy/ sell, make army, make alliances, talk etc etc
All that happen over time. it is not like heroes. for example, you want to build something in your house. depending on how important it is it will need some (real life ) time to be built.
same if you want to attack someone. depending on how far he is it may take 2, 3, 4 etc (real life) hours to get there.
