Whats the Next Big Movie?...
I know alot of us loved the Lord of the Rings and cannot wait for the 2nd and 3rd parts. Also Harry potter was pretty good, (If you didn't like it you must not have kids).
But whats next? What fantasy movie are you waiting for? What do you want made?
I have just seen "Brotherhood of the Wolf", great film, even if its french. But I now have nothing out there that I'm waiting for.
If they can make Lord of the Rings, why not the Riftwar?

Heroes of might and magic
Diablo movie
Baldur's gate movie
Warcraft movie
Starcraft movie
A movie like gladiator only with mythology and fantasy creatures.
Alliens 5
Spiderman WITHOUT hobgoblin
Lord of the rings part 2
Jurrasic park 4
Everything with fantasy/horror/mythology creatures in it is good.
Action and thriller are good aswel.

I heard last year something about a project for a new Conan movie, but i don't know at what stage are they with this project or even if they dropped it...i hope it's not the latter...

If your looking for a game related movie, Resident Evil is coming out this summer.
I agree with Star Wars, but is T3 going to be any good?

Mostly waiting for next Star Wars, and from the games...
Fallout movie would make me happiest.
Btw Oldtimer, what did you mean by "even if its french"?
Does that mean that they don`t know to make good movies?
It`s common knowledge that Hollywood made numerous remakes of french movies.

Subtitles make movie watching brutal. It is rare when you can get past the subtitles to enjoy a foreign language film. "The Brotherhood of the Wolf" was one of those rare movies that are great inspite of subtitles. Much like the japanese movie "Ran".

I would like to see R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Series on the big screen. The Demon Awakens would make a great movie too.

What about seeing "The Time Machine", Oldtimer?? And, before you see the movie, you can read the book, or watch the old version of it (which I enjoyed)

Morlocks vs. Eloi
I think that the Morlocks have been portrayed badly. They create the industrial complex and keep the Eloi in the lap of luxury. So they harvest a few of them from time to time, they are bred for it. Much like cattle. It was cruel for the time traveler too make a judgement based on the outer beauty of the Eloi and destroy the whole Morlock civilization.

Alien 5 too, this time aliens are on earth MWHAHAHAH
Star Wars 2, dont know if i wana c this one, it was going to be like a love story, buuuuu!
and of course the lotr 2 and harry pothead 2 (hehe)
But I would really be deeeelighted if they made a starcraft movie, ive always wanted to see a zergling slash up a marine sometime ;D
But I really long for matrix 2 since Matrix was the best movie ever made, but can they make Matrix 2 as deep as the first?
Alien 5 will be a mass slaughter movie i think, think about it, they are on earth...hope they land in some overpopulated areas like India or China...

U think subtitling makes the watching off a movie brutal?
U better be delighted u aint danish then. All the movies we watch are subtitled, even the danish ones.
But I find it to bad Akira Kurosawa aint alive nomore, damn he could make some great movies.
Otherwise the whole idea with sequels are taking over.
I mean Alien 5 ? Geeez, I loved Alien, Aliens, and even Alien 3. Alien 4 was abit too much for me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, mostly because the french director is simply one off the best ones there is right now.
U should all go watch "The lost childrens City" or something like that. Excellent movie.
Then Im also waiting for Peter Jacksons next movie. He is one off my fav directors out there, been following him since he made "Army off Darkness" etc.
From an intelectual point off view im also interested in seeing ho they are gonna make "Matrix 2" especially since the first one was primarily based on Descartes famous demon. I just wonder what they will base number 2 on, or if its just gonna be another action movie.
Guess thats my 2 cents.
