I think I just found another Core and the Champion. Those [url=http://ursulav.deviantart.com/gallery/#Weird-Fruit]aren't the only two[/url] either. Oh, and just as an afterthought.

Maybe we're talkin about a garden race that includes Poison Ivy and including different type of plants and trees ( including mushrooms as their first unit and watermelons as their tank unit. ).
Now that would be original, some mad wizard making plants move.

Obviously if the Veggies make it in as 4th, then by the first expansion they will introduce the next big faction.
Might and Magic: Heroes VI
Hell's Kitchen.
The mighty Vegetable Patch kingdom comes under assault by their ancient arch-enemies, the Kitchens.

Which incidentally is why I think they won't do both Sylvan and Dungeon in an expansion but introduce them separate, so there won't be so much focus on one singular story element in the expansion.
None of the previous heroes expansions had only a story focus, but if we're rolling with two factions per expansion as idea and they introduce those two, that means at least 2 campaigns (out of the usually fewer then the main game, lets roll with 3) will focus on those factions giving less "screentime" to previous factions and how they interact with the new mechanics and content.
Previous Heroes games (mainly 3 and 5) captured very nicely structured expansions with quality content and wide story elements that catered to a wide audience.
Back to the silly:
Plot-twist halfway through the expansion is that the Kitchens become allied with Inferno, with demonic flames from the depths Sheogh powering the might of the Kitchen, who will stand against the flames that threaten to turn Ashan into a culinary masterpiece for the Demon Sovereign to enjoy over a glass of red wine?!

I see that vegetables are the 4th faction and hells kitchen come in 1st expansion but then what do we do?
Play as Burger king with units like:
Burger/Cheeseburger
Fast and high attack. Extra cheese five more defense!
Chips/Large Chips
Good shooter that trows chips to the opponent!
Ketchup/Mustard
If attcked it loses 1 unit and does 3/5 damage to everyone around!
Manager/ Senior Manager
He steals Mana (money) with his high prices.
Whopper/Double whooper
With all those veggies he has a dispell sickness/Great dispell sickness to friends.
Coca Cola/'' Light
Heavy tank with his metal can armor.
And Champion is...
Big King/ Huge King
Can Lure any human and destroy them in 1 touch with his cheesy and burgery flavour. Mhhh....
This is for the second expansion!

Seems to be a bit overpowered, but on the other hand this army will most likely be eaten to the last crumb after 2-3 rounds.

Well imagine it, because up until H5 I don't think anyone could imagine a Heroes without Stronghold, they were one of the absolute classic towns, and they just got dropped, not only out of the Vanilla, but out of the first Expansion Pack as well.

They were part of the first HoMM and are the iconic MIGHT faction of heroes of MIGHT and Magic.
(I'd say Warlock/Dungeon was the iconic MAGIC faction)

So, insiders said the reveal would happen in November. Hopefully it can be in the first week of November, two weeks from now.
Then again, from the announced factions, only a handful of units were revealed so far. They only confirmed two Inferno creatures, one of them has no official name yet. The whole process of unveiling information has been quite off ever since the announcement.

I strongly believe the 4th faction is Academy, as for Sylvan they will appear in expansion along with Dark Elves (timeline creation of dark elves). 5th faction should be something snake-naga-based faction (latest screenshots featuring Mother Namtaru, i mean the medusa like statue)

I defintly think the new, new faction are the Naga by now.
I do not think they will have 2 towns in one expansion (sylvan + dungeon).
I am leaning towards Sylvan as the fourth faction now as they traditionally are very different from Inferno etc (Sylvan are fast etc).
1. They would be unique with their fast playstyle.
2. I would hate to see a HoMM without elves.
3. They have not mentioned the Elves so it would certainly be a suprise to some.
4. The Silver Cities is already said to be the home of the Necros. Would be weird to have two factions saying Silver Cities.
5. The Wood elves actually do something during this time and would fit so well with an expansion with Dark elves, Underground creatures and Faceless Ones.
6. Finally, I think they fit more to Autumn plains (I still think there will be trees...) than Academy who live in a desert.
