Oh and Aculias, I wouldn't recommend buying anything on the first date either. I'm sorry, I thought you were already in a relationship and trying to regain some lost ground. The best way to make a good first impression is to carefully study the girl and then compliment on whichever part of her appearance it seems she has spent the most time on. Be considerate. Don't assume she wants something or doesn't want it, ask(no I'm not talking about sex). Hold doors, pull out chairs, easy on the swears...Just the two of you, building castles in the sky...
Anyway, Good Luck, Aculias, you seem like a considerate guy.

First inpressions are the hardest for me since almost all women cant stand me.
I am good at compliments.
I never ask about sex which it is not important too me.
Doing the pulling chairs & the door opening I do have to work on, because I figured in another dumb idea of mine since I treat women as equal that they can open thier own doors & pull their own chairs but I am learning.
LOL funny last girl I dated know why she did not want to go out with me, because I was not old enough & get this I was only less then a yr older then her.
I defanately dont want to get into my x's yrs ago which we never dated, we just became boy & girl friend many years ago.

It depends on the girl, Aculias. Some girls like presents and some don't know how to accept them. So, my suggestion is: don't buy her anything for the first date. Not even a flower. One tip from me: send her home. Be yourself. Don't try to poke silly or dirty jokes. If she looks and smells nice, tell her. Girls like compliments but most of them want to feel they do deserve them (eg don't praise her haircut when it's still the same as usual; praise her new dress)
Once upon a time I wrote "battletips" for how to win a girl... I don't know if they guy followed them but most girls can't resist you if you behave like this. :-)

Thanks I will also take this onto consideration & actually I did that alot because of how I think about fairness.
The women would pay for somethings & I will pay for the other, like half & half.

It seems rare to me but I was wondering too how does a person fall head over heels for someone.
Everytime I do which was only once in my life she used me & threw me away like trash but it was hard because it is that hard to explain feeling where you would do anything regardless of the price ETC>
I mean how do you guys do it.
I feel that no woman would ever feel that way about me but how does it happen, can it happen to anyone,even me.
I am not handsome in my point of view but can women see through the confidence that was shut down from years from various women.
All my life everysingle woman were very mean, it's like this,first they are nervous around me & nice but once they get to know me like even a week they are so mean because of how nice I am,how easily they take advantage of my generosity,money & how they get used to me.
Should I change from this or anything.
I am tired of getting abused by women.

I don't think anyone would tell you to stop being a nice guy, Aculias! Yes, we all fall head over heels at least once, and you're not the only person who's been burned and doesn't want to go through the same thing again with someone else using them. There really isn't anything you can(or should) do about the kind of person you are, because if you change for someone else, you may have temporary happiness but in the end you'll be miserable because you're living someone else's idea of you and not your own. Too many women just don't know how to deal with nice guys because they've never experienced that kind of generous treatment before. Just keep looking, and you'll find one that appreciates Aculias for Aculias.

Yea your right, it just scary,i'm getting older even though I am still young & most hopefully one day there will be something, the girl I went with was brutally abused in every way & she was really a tough girl.
She lifted weights & beat up alot of people even big guys.
I seen the inside of her which was really gental.
She found a guy all of a sudden & got pregnant the same day & left with him to L.a.
Now living in Minnisota.
You will just die if you knew why she did not want to stay with me or my other x.
Tore my self esteem up & I never gotten a single compliment which makes me feel that something must be wrong lol

That's horrible! Well I know you're not alone as someone who thinks that nobody else will ever come along, but trust me, there will be other people. I'm fairly certain that you don't really believe that, but it's true. Just don't worry so much about when it's going to happen. Sit back, relax, enjoy the other aspects of life, and when it comes you'll truly be ready for it. All worrying gets you is less sleep and shorter fingernails.

I'm serious, girls do not want a nice guy.
If they say that they do they are lying to you. Girls want a guy who is a little dangerous. They want a guy who is exciting. They do not and never will want a nice guy unless they plan on using him as a doormat until the exciting guy comes along.
If you ask a girl out --- pay for it. They expect it and if you don't they will think you are cheap and never date you again.
If you must give a gift on first date (Bad idea) make it very inexpensive flowers, like you bought them on a whim. Roses be they 1 or 12 shows to much planning.

OT,
I now bet you are an old single bray who is only interested in himself and somehow the Wheel of Time tossed him 2 centuries away from his own age. Where do you live? In the age of stone? Then why guys like Leonardo diCaprio made so many girls hysterical? Because they SHOW they care, not because they are the Iron men called The ICe Lump in my book ... you really fit there.
Aculias, if you care about this girl and really, really want her (I'm not talking about sex), then show her your affection. I don't mean you must behave like that girl with the skunk from the cartoon (how was her her) but she's worth your love and stuff and you show her how much she means to you. Being heartless and not caring and not giving a **** about her, or showing her so you will get you no where with the decent girls.
Of course, there snowes and freaks who are not that type of person but I see you as a romantic one, so a relationship with this kind of girls would be bad on you.

Well the one that I had real feelings for is the one that got herself pregnant in one day then left.
Dont get me wrong I lived a hard viscious life where I was a hardcore person but that was maaaany yrs ago.
When it comes to guys I wont take nothing from any of them if they do something bad.
I think something happened to me in the past that made me scared of women.
Maybe one will come out & I just have to be more patient which is cool.
How to win a girl page, I dont know I am to nervous to read iy lol.

On that pic you looked pretty young. Maybe a few years older than me.
My 2 friends have been raped, dear. I fear men as well. But I had and did gain courage when I saw Lith and I knew he was the right one.
You just have to think how deep your feelings are and if the girl is worth it.

You consider the nice guy weak and boring.
You can protest all you want about how neanderthal I am but the facts prove my contention.
It sounds that Aculas was a nice guy, but what happened to him. The girl treated him like a tissue and tossed him away as soon a jerk came along.
Guys probably wouldn't be as jerky if girls would not respond to them.
How many times do I have to hear, "I thought I loved him but he was such a jerk." Or "I can't believe how bad he treats me, I thought I could change him."
If you girls wouldn't date jerks you wouldn't have those my ex is such a jerk stories. But you don't find any excitment in the "Nice" guy, and that jerk is always a challenge and a little bit naughty.
(Girls like DiCaprio because he's Pretty)

partly i agree with you... I have been a "nice guy" all my life and had never been extrememly lucky with girls... seeing that i was a "nice guy" they wanted me as a friend... as the guy they could run crying when the jerk they had as BF treated them like snow... however, I'm not the smae guy I was then... i'm still a nice guy, but I'm far from "boring" (at least i hope so) and a lot more "exciting and naughty" from the "jerks"... I am just myself, no acting, no hesitation, no regrets
in short, not all "nce guys" get tossed away

Guys like you make me sick, Old man. How old are you? You never told me so and you are among the worst of the ****s. And you were bragging old b@stards like your Honor wooed old ladies... on the Net... because they can't get any other decent girl. Or maybe you think you're among the flowers? I wouldn't even touch you with my sight in RL. You think you are cool... think again. I wuldn't date you f they gave me money.
My friends and I- people I respect- have been out with good and decent guys only. We are usually lonely because jerks make us suffer. The good guys never show up. Last night I spend 2 hours hinting at a "GOOD" guy to ask me out to go to the cinema and he never had the guts. A jerk will do and will hope the girl will pay and won't care about her but she would go out because she is asked!
Lith is a good guy and if I'm disappointed I know jerks like you, I am proud I know guys like him. He may not be the perfect date but he's nice and caring and loving and deserves my attention.
I wonder why is spent there few minutes trying to explain what the truth is when you don't deserve my attention! I don't like talking to guys who are not ony screwed by proud of it.
P.S. Mods, take a QP from me if you don't like my post. But I feel personally offended. In court I'd call this "inevitable defense"
