Wow, I feel sorry for all the people who plopped down 50-60 bucks for an essentially broken game. It's going to take some kind of lawsuit to end this kind of criminal behavior on the part of game companies.

Caveat Emptor.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all about suing people, but it may have been better to wait for reviews and rent the game before actually purchasing it. After-all, Bethesda is notorious for releasing buggy products.

I'm just after my first drake kill and man was it lucky (I don't believe in potions). After trading fireballs for 5 minutes it finally landed for the kill and right before I was about to die two mammoths came charging in from behind my back and killing it leaving me with 10 hp or so

Well that's part of the appeal... if you're lvl 10 YOU RUN. You run, swearing on your lost pride that in 10 levels you'll come back and slit its throat.
...and then a Dracolich decides to show up instead... and you run again 
It gives a sense of progression instead of just kicking ass throughout the entire game. Slaying a dragon loses its "**** I'M AWEEEEEESOME" quickly once you realize that trolls are a bigger challenge.

No kidding. The only time I've ever had any challenge fighting a dragon is when I was a level 3 mage. I got mauled because I didn't heal fast enough.
On my warrior, the dragons have always been a joke. I remember killing one easily and then getting killed by a polar bear a few seconds later. Pretty sad.

Not at all.. Potions are waay too powerfull in Skyrim..
Level 10 you can slay dragons all the time.. Its justr a matter of enough potions. Skilled in alchemy and restoration is powerfull.
And when you learn the Shout of Time something something, the slaying even becomes easier..
Level 29 and on my way to slay my first Elder Dragon (Got beat up by it last time)

Well, of course, that's the problem, isn't it? Only in the software industry is there a chance that you buy a product that might not work after you open it, and we put up with it.
Imagine how that would work for other kinds of consumer products, like televisions, board games, food, or cosmetics.

Oh you know the usual, here and there slaying dragons, making love to beautiful women, running from enraged lovers and scorned women alike, saving the world. Long story that is not necessarily exciting. What really matters is that Im very glad to be back .
Oh and thanks a lot Adrius! Thats exactly what I have been looking for! Still I was looking for something to improve the overall UI, not just the way it sorts things, since I find it to be rather console orientated. And seeing how I belong to the glorious PC gaming masterrace I dont know why I should put up with that.
Still wondering about picking up Enchatment but if you say its so crazy overpowered I might skipp it since I dont want the game to be too easy (GO DEADLY DRAGON MOD!). Is there a difficulty setting in game?

Yah thats the one I was looking for! I remember the Sky name thing... Thanks. What do you mean by "slow" though? Is it that its too slow to find things? Or is it perhaps just that you were so used to navigating the old UI that the new one seemed odd?
EDIT: Gave it a closer look and the old system seems more like my style. The new one looks more like an excel graph lol. Not getting a very adventurey vibe from it.

Yeah probably cuz I'm used to it.
Also, I'm not the kind of adventurer that hogs 200 items and uses them all. I like to have a sword, a bow, and an assortment of poisons. I throw everything else away and live off nature. I'm a very deadly hippie.
The current UI works for me. Although I wouldn't mind seeing the healthbars and compass and stuff being made much smaller... haven't got around to searching for mods like that yet. Busy with Mass Effect at the moment.
Yeah not very adventurey... though that can be said about the old UI as well. Far from Oblivion's painted pictures of skills and classes... just clean and simple with an astral theme. It reminds me a lot of Bioshock, the style is very similar.
@Veco: They regen very fast if you don't flame them, though all classes can have access to the very handy Fiery Soul Trap enchantment early on so it's not really a problem. Still more challenging than dragons.

Seriously.. Shadowmere is overpowered 
Whenever i enter a situation i can't handle my self, i just ride shadowmere.. Everyone attacks that stupid horse, and it doesn't seem to die, and that makes me able to destroy my oponents without even getting a scratch
In oblivion, shadowmere where unable to die, but if you forgot where you parked him, he was gone!!
In skyrim, he spawns wherever you are fast travelling.
