It's nice, love the bleeding and cripple effects, not to mention the realistic sound effect (with echo)

I'll walk you through it >.<

Download both files into NMM (both the main file and the muzzle flash)

activate the mainfile

then active the muzzleflash one, it will say that it detects a newer version, just click no for this one

then it asks whether you want to override, click yes to all. Enjoy

I rebooted as an Argonian conjurer/warrior, tearing through the game like a motherloving predator, and I'm very impressed with the Dark Brotherhood storyline in the game. So many fun twists and turns in it to keep it exciting. Definitely the best major quest storyline in either Oblivion or Skyrim.

I did the Companion storyline too and thought it was ****.

In what is becoming a bit of trend when it comes to Skyrim expansions, files found in the recent 1.8 patch allude to a possible expansion to the latest installment of the Elder Scrolls franchise.
In a thread posted in the Bethesda Softworks Forums, a user reports that files found in the beta update suggest the new expansion will be called "Dragonborn", will involve the player traveling to Solstheim (the location of the previous expansion Bloodmoon for Morrowind), and will include certain new content like dragon mounts, new armor, magic usable on mounts, and new creatures.
While it has not been confirmed as of now, a trademark on the name Dragonborn for ZeniMax Media Inc. issued on September 25th, 2012 may lend support to these rumors.

I love the Daedra quests they include in the game. Listening to the personalities of the different princes is interesting. It's starting to look like they have a quest for every single daedric prince, as I've already done 9 of them so far. I'll prolly internet it after I complete the game just to see any I missed.

Molag Bal is my favorite so far. He's a badass.

This mod is looking absolutely amazing.

It attempts to bring more life into Skyrim by adding interesting NPCs all over the world with voiced dialogue.

Quote:
FEATURES
- 101 NPCs, 77 voiced
- Adds over 250,000 words of Player and NPC Dialogue
- 18 Followers with Location Based Commentary
- 8 Marriage NPCs
- 1 Full and 3 Miscellaneous Quests.

I feel like a major step towards massively improving the immersion of the game would be to multiply the number of NPCs in town several times over. It's kind of underwhelming how you walk into town and there's like a total of 10 people hanging out in the central marketplace. The issue of course is demand on the system. If you have 40 NPCs on a single street even a really good computer is going to be like "Heeeeeeelp meeeeeee.......", and the need to script all of those NPCs would be outrageously taxing.

I would be completely okay if they added generic NPCs to the game that were simply part of the graphical background, rather than being interactive. Then they could highlight the interactive NPCs from the "the crowd" with a distinct circle or something. It would really improve the atmosphere imo.

**** I add rainbows and shooting stars and lightning effects and ****ing ****tons of butterflies and ants and caterpillars and ****whatnot.

But I still can't create such a magical feeling as Oblivion had.

I need to get me one of those super-bright ENBs I think... Skyrim is just too grey and lifeless.

Also I hate the fact that "YOU'RE THE DRAGONBORN" is thrown into my face in literally 90% of every dungeon I enter through some word wall and stuff. The whole word revolves around dragons damnit.

Makes it really hard to just... roleplay another kind of life.

Skyrim, homo edition?

It's Skyrim. It's supposed to be pale and cloudy

And if we want to whine about the "You're the Dragonborn" storyline, it's the fact that after you make the mistake of completing the first set of quests, you've got dragons practically tripping over each other trying to attack you. There's probably been like 5 occasions on this new character where I travel somewhere and there's a goddamn dragon hovering over me, so I just hop on Shadowmere and gallop away because I don't feel like gutting a giant lizard for the 20th time.

Elder Scrolls have always been about living any kind of life you want, in another world. In Oblivion, if you didn't care about the whole Emperor assassination stuff, you could just say **** you and go live your own life. At most you'd get a guard rumour about the Emperor being assassinated, and that's it.

In Skyrim Dragonborn and Dragons are EVERYWHERE, regardless if you want it or not.

I know about the quest triggering system... even without dragons present there's still wordwalls that play epic Dragonborn music when you get too close and stuff...

If I wanna be a Dragonborn it's no issue... I just mod the dragons to be really rare but powerful. It's quite nice, but Dragonborn only really fits the warrior persona imo... if I want to play something else, say assassin, ranger or mage, I just can't handle being Dragonborn.
