Poll Question:
Interest in a faction-creating contest?
I allready asked in the H6-faction competition, but it seems to go down there.
With the fresh energy and motivation coming through the (still upcoming) release of H6, I would like to do a contest of faction creation with those of you who are interested.
It would work in a way that you get a task, and make a faction fulfilling the task. Tasks can be very different, from including certain creatures or having a certain racial, to less specific things like only having 3 creatures which allready were in old games or such.
The task would, of cause, change with every round^^
SO, my question now is: are enough people interested?

Im interested. I don't have time to create a whole faction from scratch, but I can help others with creating fluff, monsters, finding pictures, etc. I have quite good knowledge of creatures from other games (mostly pnp rpgs).
Gee, I feel like I'm auditioning from a job

I really don't care.
To be honest, I do not see the point in creating zillions of factions everyday. But it is only my POV.

Of course To me, and maybe others, it's jsut fun...wether there are others feeling like that, I tried to find it out by this thread

I'll give it a go, although I can't promise anything (I still have to do my Christmas shopping, help my dad rebuild the fence, and look for a job in the new year). I just hope the rules aren't as stringent on this one, I hate having to think up exact abilities, so I'd prefer just to stick with names and descriptions if that's okay with you.

I'm in.
I was about to pm you, Jiriki, to reopen that contest you created long ago, in which people got some source of inspiration (pictures, music or texts) and had to create factions based on that, because IMO that was the most awesome competition about factions. 
But this one will do too.

We should postpone this for about 2 weeks, people care more about holydays now than forums. Maybe some that really want this won't make it to the competition.

I'm really interested in this, however can you explain a bit more about how these tasks will work?
Personally I have this new kind of Inferno that I'm worikng on that was supposed to go in the H6 faction creation thread.
So I'm willing to do both small and big projects.

I have a chronic habit of vomiting out a faction every few months, so I'll join.
I'm kinda apprehensive about it because H6 is over the horizon, so I'll be making a faction with H5 mechanics and then I'll have to convert it to H6 mechanics. Plus the factions never get judged anyway unless Mytical comes along, glances at it for 5 seconds, and then puts a score down.
I might join.

Sounds like a good idea, creates hype for the game.
I'll probably enter the contest with a faction I created way back when, before H5.
