The Litterature discussion
i think you people should come her, and discuss the Tolkien world..
it is a world of imagination, a world of babes and a world of war.
And every one hwo reads one of his books,is like their mind is all fokused on them!
and when you first start reading....... you cant stop.
And of course.........ale and crackers will be srved! :-)

Arda is not Middle-Earth, but the whole world including Middle-earth. There are other continents ther too

the land ofthe Valar and Numenor are lost to the younger races... so the only way to make them understand was to reffer to Middle Earth as Arda

Maybe you're right, and maybe not. Of course the lands of Valar are closed before the mortal ones, but there are exceptions, such as Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
The lands of Numenor are under the water, and too much time is left until it'll raise again in his glory, let's hope it will at all .
Yet, the forbidness shouldn't prevent knowlege If you know what I mean...

ive seen the movie( with nimrod!)
but reading the book!!!!! its like 6456219849450 pages long!
new tecnologie is always best! PC, TV, Sterio why read a book when u got THAT!

Lith, you disappoint me again. First you don't know what is "beta", now you don't know what is Arda... Arda is a river whose biggest part is in Bulgaria, but at its end it passes through Greece... You should know that!

but Arda (or Arthas as is its greek name) is one of my fave places... every year (during the summer) a rock festival is held there

i do have a PC maby its not that new and advanced but it works! and i have a sterio... well atleast a old one... and i have a TV ...(and there is nothing wrong with it)

I really got into the hobbit book. When it got to lord of the ring's, I was sick of all the fantisy name's. Town's, continent's, path's, river's.. Ect. I forced myself through halve of the triology.
Interesting story line though. Real intence scenery. To many names to remember

Nimrod, I think that if you treat Tolkien as Litterature... er... this may be interpreted in a wrong way... So I'm gonna slay ya for offending one of my fav writers!!!
