- Well, to answer your question comrade, after the elimination of Zero, I was locating and eliminating everyone who knew about Project LEGION and a race called Evolon. Judging by the OMOH we encountered, I think that I missed a few. And that shadow thing that attacked us? Isn't it one of America's Cold War 'living weapons?

"Good." I said and nodded to myself "Because that means you fought Ouroboros at the Langsley Mall and can tell me what happened. And perhaps you know a little more about Ouroboros than I do...Now where did that gargoyle go?" I looked around and made a motion towards the park "If you could be so kind, please follow me. We should find that gargoyle and see what he knows as well. And then we should figure out what to do with Ouroboros."

"But why did it mention Xion?" Jack Redfox wondered "And why did it attack us?"
"There is a simple enough answer to that Redfox." Mr. X said "It probably came because of the thing the girl has inside of her, or atleast that would be the logical conclusion. And it mentioned Xion to confuse us! But we cannot afford to linger on this forever, we still need to deal with Ouroboros and his plot! And we should not need to wait to long for the other three to show up, I sent some guys over to the [inset location of the battle] to pick them up."

"It wanted to merge with Miasma, the creature living inside of Melony. It will probably become much stronger if that happens, it can possibly even live without a host if that is the case." Kane answered, putting his coat over Melony and standing up. "And I wouldn't want that to happen, I don't know if anyone could kill it if that's the case. I was no match the way it is now. It could be used against Ouroboros though, both of them, as they will steal his powers and make him possible to take down for both Vlad and me. Afterall we have our physical powers, no superpowers and stuff like flameboy here."

Despite his sore wings, Edmund had taken to the air again. The strong winds that brought the rains to New Constantinople carried him aloft. Edmund figured that if he was going to find that Inferno or Mr. X he'd had best do it from the air, as he could cover more ground like that.
The downpour did not bother Edmund at all. The rain was the closest thing he had to an actual shower. Also it removed the scartissue on his body that had melted due to the commisioner's second heat attack. The rain cleaned out his scars of the remnants of the molten tissue. New scar-tissue would likely form when the old wounds were cleaned and he managed to get himself dry.
Then Edmund was hit by a sudden squall. The unexpected gust of wind forced the previously dislocated wingdigits out of their place again. Edmund howled in pain. He lost altitude and was blown off course. He knew that to continue gliding, Edmund risked to suffer more injury to his battered wings.
Looking around, he quickly found a sportsfield enclosed by buildings. It was abandoned and a good a landingspot as any. Edmund banked, even though it put more pressure on his dislocated wing digits. He was loosing altitude quickly and his flight was haphazard.
"This is not going to be a clean landing." Edmund said to himself.
Edmund aimed for a tenniscourt as best he could, when he was hit by another squall. He spun out of controll and with a heavy thud and another howl of pain he hit the gravel of the court. Edmund skidded for a few more metres before coming to a halt.
Edmund lay panting on the gravel. He would get up in a second.
(OOC(Yes, Edmund just crashed into the tenniscourt of the Dead-Men-Walking-Club. @ B-E-T-A, I thought Mr. X did not know Edmund's name, evident to the letter he sent. How did he get the info so suddenly?))

As I looked around trying to find any signs of were the gargoyle had went, a car pulls up and stops by the road. Two men comes out of the car, they turn towards me and Econ and waves with their hand "Oi! Mr. Commissioner! Mr. Econ! Please come this way, Mr. X would like to talk with you!" They shout
"Mr. X?" I remember the letter with the list I have in the pocket. Now this was interesting. I turn back towards Econ "I have a letter from Mr. X already. It arrived in the mail today, came with a list of informants and some information about Ouroboros. I don't know if we can trust these guys, but I for one would like to know what Mr. X wants. How about you?"

"Mr. Redfox!" A woman shrieks and comes running towards the group "MR. REDFOX!" She screams again "Yes, yes, what is it?!" "A-a GARGOYLE! It just crashed into the tenniscourt." She shouts "WHAT?!" Jack gave the phone to one of the other members of the club and started running towards the exit to the courtyard.

Kane keeps pressure on his still bleeding cut. "It's a great day for crazy stuff." he growls. "I bet that gargoyle is a living breathing rock!" he let out a short laugh, sounding slightly like a bark, then looked over at Vlad and lifted a new glass. "To our second war, we will butcher our enemies!"

"I got a letter too. About Ouroboros, I probably don't know much more than you do. I know he can stop time, make bullets stop from hitting him, he can use telekenisis, he can teleport other people, and he has a lot of energy."

"I see." I nodded to Econ "Well, if Mr. X was sending letters to people warning them about Ouroboros, chances are he knows a lot more than us. So what do you say we go with these guys? If it turns out to be a trap I am sure the two of us would be able to defeat whatever they use. We are superheroes after all." I shrugged and started to move over towards the MIBs.

"And what club would that be?" I asked
"Jack Redfox's club for living people who have been officially labeled 'dead' by the government. Those people that are like me and him." The man pointed at the driver "Usually we don't let other people into our club, but apparently the Chairman and Mr. X have decided that no other place is safe to discuss theirs common problem: Ouroboros."
"I see..." I looked out on the streets and took notes over where we were and what roads we used.

- Aye. Death for capitalism! URA!- said Vlad and emptied the glass. His tattoo showing a bear killing a bald eagle was clearly visible to the other members of the club. Vlad disliked sleeved t-shirts, for they felt too tight for his body. He laughed heartly.
- Sorry, couldn't resist. Still what the Doctor did to your body was a great upgrade. Now you can't be poisoned by eating or drinking. The bad side is that the booze isn't as enjoyable. You'll get used to it. Still Mengele's work was largely based on Evolon methods.- Vlad groomed his beard. It had no traces of gray hair. Vlad's aging process was stopped completely.- As was the Legion. Still it seems that there are a handfull who have the knowledge of it and are still alive. I must silence them before we take on Oroboros.

Miasma drained the powers from everyone around it at a torrential rate. It needed to, if it wanted to stay alive. But it had reached that point a few seconds ago.
Now, it drained power to evolve. It would take some time, but that was Miasma's one advantage over G9, it could only raise its maximum power level by draining powers. G9 could never change. Miasma slowly warped the power it was taking into a power of its own, one that it needed to defeat G9 desperately.
Miasma's host needed to be fully functional.

"Tell me about it." Kane answered. "Maybe I could assist you, and in the process learn more about myself." he smiled grimly. "I don't feel I should be the person to search my soul to know who I am, but I am curious who I was. Maybe I want to become that person once more. Oh, and there is one update you don't have."
Kane took off his goggles and revealed his eyes. "Nightvision." he explained.

Edmund growled as he got back on his feet. That was the worst landing he had made since he had gotten the hang of gliding. He brushed the gravel off himself and groaned when he tried to flex his wings again.
Several people were running towards him. Edmund folded his wings to his back and prepared to meet them head on if they were hostile.

"Wait, can he stop time or just slow it down? Cause if he can just slow it down then Sidewinder could be a good matchup for him I guess!" Kane answered, then took a look outside. "Should we do anything to warn those people about the giant stone monster thingy there? They seem to be running toward it without thinking it might kill them."

- That's why we salvaged all that Evolon technology. Among the scientist's logs me and Seth found some devices that are able to counter his powers. We just need to find a genious to adapt them to Mk-89 and I'll be ready. It would take more than time stopping dalbajob to take out me.

"Stopp!" Jack yelled to the people running towards Edmund "Don't go charging into the unknown without being prepared!"
"Damn straight!" A woman who came out at the courtyard armed with an P90 shouted to the crowd "Now clear the courtyard!" A few other men and women behind her came out "Remember the attack caution procedures! Stay out of the securities way and if target appears hostile, get to the emergence rooms whenever danger comes to the club!" She shouted and the crowd made room and started pulling away from the gargoyle.
The woman walked right over to the rock creature, but she kept herself at atleast 5meters distance and pointed her gun at it. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!"
