fine. now for the social structure of keep (remember the infos I gave on the page before this)

NOTE: if you have any good, innovative ideas for any faction's social structures, send them to me or post them here, as ideas, unrelated to the questions!!! I ain't got much inspiration these days, because I give most of it to university these days -.-

In the social order of the Keep Faction (in both Astura and Lun and any (or at least most) smaller country, or city-states, of keeps there may be!), the mages will necessarily have a not unimportant position. Which shall that be?

The mages shall be a kind of upper class, similar to a kind of Nobility
OR
The mages shall be in a kind of middle of the society, by far not the poorest, but also not really high in the society. Simialr to the citizens of the late medieval times
OR
The social structure is not class-divided like this, but mostly by money. most mages only have it easier to get money^^
OR
mages can have different social positions depending on which kind of magic they practice and how good they are
OR
The Social structure in most keeps is mostly democratical, thus the mages are not originally higher valued than anybody else
OR
The Social structure is determined by birth, not by capability. Many influential families have many mages, but the status and the profession&power are not directly connected

POSSIBLE ADDITION
this can be chosen as addition to any of the options before: "only for Astura, not for Lun"

EDIT: Should I continue the side-contest *now* or tomorrow?

(I don't have to judge anything, right? As long as I summarize the entries, I'll let you do the judging when you get the time, okay?)
