important question I don't want to be overlooked
2 questions
A: is this still updated? I remember playing a version 1-2 years ago that had less features than my recent download (e.g. some really stupid options like walking through scenery weren't enabled by default, also there was no henchman option)
B: how do I actually change the options? the selection accessed from the "save game" screen cannot be altered in any way! meaning that clicking the check marks does absolutely nothing

A) yes, some people are still improving this game, though lately there weren't much updates. (and the most awaited addons are still not released)
B) You can modify your WoG settings only by going through new game option in main menu.

a: it fvcking sucks I can't just open another thread
(and don't prevent me from swearing g0ddamn it!)
b: the commander feature makes the original campaigns way too easy. they get real powerful really easy and make neutral monster a laughingstock (with 1000 hp you can speed through the map without having to buy creatures at all) - any comments on that observation?

Yes dude, u can always increase neutral creatures strength by increasing amount of experience they receive each week (script) or by enabling another script that makes them stronger by boosting their stats. (or maybe if u dont want to use commanders just disable them ..)

I found out how to disable the commanders
