Eh, what's the deal with this "druid" guy? I've waited a while to see what would happen. And it appears to be nothing.

The 'druid' is actually a leshi. A spirit of the forest. It isn't very happy about random fiends chopping down the trees of it's forest.
I think I'll write us out of the situation.

Here is a page that will help you identify the monsters: Monstropedia just search for any mosters(example: Leshi, Jotun, Chimera) and you will find out what it is.

Yeah, I looked up Leshi earlier, though not there. However, they are not entities that are part of my arsenal of fantasy creatures. So when I think man with large beard, covered in plants and commanding nature magic, I think druid.
And Kip calling it a leshi, might have helped too.

I've been meaning to write an update since the message from the dark arts but always something came up.
Just a warning beforehand. I'm making an RP so while I have rather well time now. When it starts running I might turn from having some time to completely lacking it.

Can't update this weekend. Got to get to bed and I'm moving tomorrow.

Did you guys lost interest or something? I know the pace was a bit slow, but I'm trying to hasten it.
For now, I'll introduce the villains.
Name: Sahatt the Great
Age: ~72
Race: Unknown, currently poses as a Shakk medicine man
Skills: Accomplished sorcerer, master of the dark arts. Has mastered all three forms of magic common in the land. Also has been known to use the magic arts that were forgotten since the Era of the Sages.
Background: Sahatt The Great(a self proclaimed title) claims to be a descendant of one of the overlords who besieged the Temple of the Sages, and his desire to aquire the Tomes is as great as those who tried to take them ages ago. He searched for them all his life and has grown a severe obsession and nearly went insane during the search. He'll stop at nothing to gain their knowledge.

Name: The Shadow
Age: Been emerging to the human world since Barash passed away
Race: N/A
Powers: employs powerfull magic to deal with the intruders of his domain. Uses ice based attacks. Able to devour the souls of those he slain, thus increasing his power.
Background: The ultimate defender of the Tomes, this being is manifestation of Barash's 'dark side'. This being is the ruthless guardian of the tomes, bound forever to zealously guard it. No one exactly knows how The Shadow comes to existance exactly at the same moment when worthy heroes set out to find the books.

I've been busy or something. Plus I have not read up on the RP because I use to long time on bosting huge amount of Thorald hamminess that by the time I am done with a post, it has gotten irrelevant... Yeah I suck.

The Dark Riders(which our characters fight right now) will appear throughout the game, trying to obtain Barash's weapons for Sahatt.
A little more detailed info on the quartet:
Names: Unknown, commonly known as The Dark Riders
Age: Several centuries at least.
Appearance: All are equally tall and of same build. Their skin is ash grey and they wear black leather armor and cloaks, which hoods cover their faces.
Weapons: each bears a double edged battle axe incrusted with rubies.
Background: The unfortunate victims of The Shadow, these once noble heroes are now soulless beings damned to wander the lands for eternity. While often appearing as ghosts and scaring the peasantry, some of them are enslaved by dark sorcerers and are fed with false promises to do their master's bidding. They often exclaim for mighty warriors that they can become one of them, however it is unclear why they say so. They are often seen riding black winged beasts such as wolves or horses. Each of them is very hard, if not impossible to kill. It is believed that once The Shadow is destroyed The Dark Riders will also perish with him.
