Taking Utopia's!@
OK….cleaning up the Library I ran into several references as how to take Utopia’s!@
I saw people that went as crazy as to attack a maxed out Utopia with 3 Dragon Flies and 3 CH’s ----casting force field and using Arch Devils.
Can somebody take the trouble to state it per town what u need to take a maxed out Utopia (let’s presume that u have a level 10 hero (no armor skill).
So Fortress: 3DF, 5 CH’s ???
Dungeon: ????
Tower: ???
…
..
.
Edit: basic earth, basic air(slow and haste)
Edit2: I posted this in the ToH forum because you guys simply know it the best and I need the info for ToH maps

3 dragon flies 5 chaos hydras?
hehe chaos hydra is some of the best creatures to fight utopias with. the dragons just seems so scared of them that they just stand around them without doin anything
well i have tryed taking maximum utopia with 3 archangels... 10 zealots and 17 golems and only a cure... all that survived was the 3 archangels
but again ... a level 10 hero i think you need all your creatures with you...

Its all about stats really...
YOu can pretty much judge what you need to fight a utopia with by the stats you have.. I don't know any formula or anything.
BUt genrally depending on hero ect.. the stats and skills make the utopia taking easy or hard. of course nice spells help alot too.
I don't use it anymore.. however an old trick I use to like (before I knew you could check a utopias size without going in) was to send a hero in with 1 ranged army in each slot.. at 100% difficulty the greens and blacks, and the reds and golds will 60% of the time line up perfectly that green can hit black and red can hit gold. when archers attack and get the blast through. This trick helped me taking many utopias week 2. But never a maxed topia in week 2.
Most of the towns have little tricks to do this....
But my favorite trick (not really a trick) is to collect as many joiners as possible and then stick your level 7's and possibly another strong town unit in army and attack.

my fave
3 lvl 7's 6 lvl 6's and some joiners(hopefully +20 lvl 4 or 5's) and then a slew of lvl 1's normally the drags will go for the lvl 1's unless ur lvl 7 is a devil, but normally u can use the drags attack against themselves (7reds vrs 6 golds and 8 greens vrs 5 blacks or vice versa)
that chaos hydra trick is really usefull i would go as far to say 2 or 3 chaos hydras and 5-10 dragon flies all u need for topia but i haven't totally figured the whole trick out. yes i know hydras dont get attacked if another creature is next to them making everything defend but sometimes this isn't the case.
joiners are always the easiest way to take utopias.
p.s. always helps to have resurection tho i wouldn't know i rarely build my guilds.

I just charge in really! usually there are a few dragon creature generators around it, so i recruit and jump in! (after clicking on it and then declining to entre once as it tells you how many are there if you do that)

yes the ch trick is good.
Mostly when I take a utopia ( stats should be good at the time) bring about 4 or 5 7th lv creature & all your lv 1 creature, hopefully over a hundred.
Castle is fun bringing in a little bit of arch angels & a motherload of pikemen & hopefully some joiners.
Cast a good defense os spell & they will go after the pikemen.
After you are almost done killing the dragons, you can ressurect the pikemen.

When I was in Scholar clan I worked out a way to take the utopia day 5-6 w/tower. But man it is hard as hell to do and it took me about 10 pages of notes to jot down things like;
"If blacks then arrange the gremlins in this order" and
"Now that you have them down to 3 reds arrange the stacks in this order."
It cost a lot of gold and was only good for when you were wanting to attack week2 or early wk3. After all if you are going to wait that long you can just take it in a conventional manner.

Believe it or not there are other ways to get resurection than building up a mageguild

I bet the person XXXX from the no comment thread can take it week one easily too
If u hit a maxed utopia with a throng mastergremlins and a hero with low stats and u surive in a game vs. me moc be sure i send the save to the council .

I think a wise person asked this question in a different thread already:"Do you have a brain?"
I dont know Mocara´s method, but after thinking about it for just a few seconds, it becomes clear that it must consist of using the three remaining gremlins to make the dragons´ breath attack hurt each others. Repeat this several times to weaken the dragons further ...
Having a brain can be good, sometimes.

There are several good ways.
Summon elemental of course is the best, you just come with 7 level 1's and get the elementals going. Then if you have resurrect get a level 1 back, if you don't then run away when drags almost dead and come back.
Arch devils and force field will do wonders, you can take it with just 1 if you are patient enough, but your opponent probably won't be.
The chaos hydra trick works only with normal difficulty, all others it is useless and i never found use for it, since i never play 100%, but if you do more power to ya.
Counterstrike will also do wonders with your vamp lords in case you don't have the animate dead.
Archangels and cure, the archangel resurrect usually helps a lot in utopia battles.
Anyway, many more ways i will list more when i remember.

In my sincerest opinion, I would almost never take an utopia in wk2 even if i didnt hav animinate,res or summon. What I figured is that if AI calculates that it can take out just 1 of your AA within 2 hits of 2 dragon stacks it will do it.
Can some1 xplain 2 me how forcefield works? I am a newbie minus my total of 300 games.(I have never taken an utopia after 250 games. Blame it on criss cross2,3,4,5necro and BM
What I found out is that it isnt advisable to put 6 stacks of archers, contrary 2 an above post. The problem is that..depending on how the drags hit u, You may end up in a position whereby your want to take out the retaliation 4 the sake of your lvl7 but cant bcoz archers only shoot if no enemy unit is directly beside them.

The best creature to fight in the utopia from each castle & the best creature to sacrafice are in my opinion.

Necropolis-Dreaded Knights (zombies or skeletons decoy
Stronghold-ancient behemoths or ogres magi with thunder birds (goblins or wolfs decoy
Doungeon-Minotaurs with scorpicores (trogs decoy
Fortress-Chaos hydras or mighties with basalisk (knolls decoy
Conflux-Magic Elemental & magma elemental (Sprites decoy
Of course there are many ideas like that & probally would be tough but just my opinion
